A system and method for a user-centric decentralized digital communication platform aggregating multiple user groups within a defined organization, community or affiliated networks enables secure data transfer of complex multi-party data across multiple information systems, organizations, communities, and external affiliates. A comprehensive digital ecosystem, in which varied user groups within specific industries can identify, interact and manage everyday tasks and requests, provides an intuitive networking communication platform that can utilize distributed ledger technology to reward participation and exchange. The computer-implementable communication platform system is operable in combination with multiple information systems, and includes or provides a central remote abstraction layer, service or system for enabling inter-information system operations, and a single interface for client-to-information system interactions. The remote abstraction layer, service or system communicates with administrative clients associated with the multiple information systems and authenticated client devices for identifying and approving data release from select information systems.

The method and system include receiving search request data that requests a search to be made and identifying multiple search terms or clauses in the search request data. The method and system includes determining an expected cost in resources for searching each search term. The method and system then searches for each search term in order from least resource intensive to most resource intensive, with each search after the first search being performed only among the results of the previously searched term(s).

One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for automatically modifying computer parameters as an incentive for complying with data policies. During operation, the system receives, at a computing system, a data policy definition, wherein the data policy definition comprises: one or more metrics associated with data usage, and one or more desired vectors associated with the one or more metrics. Next, the system receives, at the computing system, usage statistics for data, wherein the usage statistics comprise the one or more metrics for one or more clients. The system then analyzes the usage statistics to determine, at the computing system, a first score indicating how a first client in the one or more clients is performing compared to the one or more desired vectors for the one or more metrics. Finally, the system automatically modifies a parameter of the computing system associated with the first client based on the first score.

During operation, the system receives, at a node in a network, a policy file comprising access policies for resources in the network, wherein the access policies are associated with attributes of profiles, and wherein the profiles are associated with clients. The common fan module comprises a fan to cool the first plurality of power supplies and the second plurality of power supplies, a power inlet, a third plurality of electrical connectors, a fourth plurality of electrical connectors. The third plurality of electrical connectors are capable of being electrically coupled to the first plurality of electrical connectors, and the fourth plurality of electrical connectors are capable of being electrically coupled to the second plurality of electrical connectors.
