A valve cage () for a control valve () incorporates a plurality of throttle channels () which extend from an inner contour of the valve cage () to its outer contour and penetrate the valve cage (), each throttle channel () having an inlet opening () on the inner contour side and an outlet opening () on the outer contour side when viewed in the flow direction (S). When viewed in the circumferential direction (u), the valve cage () has a plurality of arcuate outer contour portions () which are each separated from one another via a step () acting as a tear-off edge, and the throttle channels () are arranged so that they extend such that the outlet openings () of the throttle channels () on the outer contour side are arranged in the step () between two outer contour portions ().

In a method for spatially arranging at least one sensor array in a measuring channel, a predetermined desired geometry of the measuring channel is provided; a desired sensor-array arrangement associated with the desired geometry of the measuring channel is provided, where the sensor-array arrangement includes spatially-defined positioning parameters and orienting parameters in regard to the sensor components; an actual geometry of the measuring channel is captured; it is determined if a positioning parameter or an orienting parameter is outside of an admissible value range in relation to the actual geometry of the measuring channel, and the at least two sensor components of the sensor array are arranged in the measuring channel according to a most-current desired-sensor-array arrangement.

A globe valve (e.g. Flow-To-Open valve) can include an inlet opening with a circular shaped opening cross section defining a valve axis, a globe valve member movable in a vertical direction transversely to the valve axis and connectable, via a valve rod, to an actuator for actuating the globe valve member, and a passage opening with a circular-shaped passage opening cross section. The globe valve member closes the passage opening at a lowest actuating position, in the vertical direction, and a flow channel extending from the inlet opening to the passage opening defines a flow cross section. The surface size of the flow cross section decreases in a first section from the inlet opening, in a flow direction, to a transition point. The flow cross section, in the first section, is continuously oval shaped and the first section of the flow channel is continuously inclined downwards in the vertical direction.

Globe valve for controlling a process fluid flow

The invention relates to a control valve () for a process plant, comprising an actuator () which is connected to, and spaced from, a valve body () of a valve unit () via a yoke (), the valve body () having a housing flange () which is detachably connected to the yoke (), with the valve body () having an inlet () and an outlet () adapted to allow the flow of a process fluid therethrough, which inlet () and outlet () are each arranged in a fluid connection region (), and with an actuating member adapted to be displaced by the actuator () for controlling the flow rate of the process fluid being arranged in the passage () from the inlet () to the outlet (). The invention is characterized in that the housing flange () connected to the yoke () has at least one recess () as well as a yoke fastening region (), with the yoke fastening region () being formed as a bolt hole circle () with radially arranged connecting holes ().

Control valve for a process plant

In a valve housing modular system, different configurations for a globe valve arranged to adjust a process fluid flow are provided. The globe valve can have a globe valve member movable in translation along a stroke axis. The system can include a housing corpus with a process fluid inlet and outlet, a process fluid passage arranged therebetween, and an actuating opening to introduce the rod for actuating the globe valve member along the stroke axis; and a housing cover for covering the actuating opening. The system can include different adapters for the different functional/structural configurations.

The invention relates to a valve seat and cage assembly () comprising a valve cage () and a valve seat (), the valve seat () being adapted to be screwed into the valve cage (), which valve cage (), in a connection portion () thereof, has a valve cage connection inner diameter (D) in which the connection portion () of a valve seat () engages with its valve seat connection outer diameter (D) and thus provides radial centering, a screw connection portion () and a shoulder (), with the shoulder () serving as an axial stop between the valve cage and the valve seat, and with the valve seat () and the valve cage () being pressed against one another with an axial contact pressure component. The invention is characterized in that the screw-connection portion is located between the connection portion () and a shoulder (), with the valve cage connection inner diameter (D) and the valve seat connection outer diameter (D) forming a fit with one another that will act to center the valve seat and the valve cage.

The invention relates to a control valve for adjusting a process fluid flow of a process plant, comprising a valve housing () with a valve seat () and a valve piston () connected to a valve rod (), which valve piston () interacts with the valve seat () for opening and closing the control valve (). The invention is characterized in that, for connecting the valve rod () to the valve piston (), a flange () is mounted on the valve rod (), which flange () is screwed to the valve piston () via plural threaded connecting elements ().

An arrangement for a globe valve for adjusting a process fluid can include a valve housing having an inlet and an outlet connected by a passage, a valve cage to linearly guide a valve member of the globe valve in an axial direction, and a position lock (securing device). The valve cage can include a passage channel(s) extending transversely in the axial direction. The valve cage can be arranged in the valve housing where: the valve cage circumferentially surrounds the passage opening with respect to the axial direction, and a radial outer side of the valve cage with respect to the axial direction is in contact with a radial inner side of the valve housing with respect to the axial direction. The position lock fixes a relative position of the valve cage relative to the valve housing and arranged on the radial outer side and/or on the radial inner side.
