An arrangement for inductively transmitting energy for charging an energy storage device of a rail vehicle. A first induction element transfers energy to a second induction element. An inverter with an adjustable AC voltage frequency provides an AC voltage to the first induction element. A controller controls the AC voltage frequency of the inverter. A measuring device ascertains a power output value during the wireless energy transmission and transmits the value to the controller and the controller adjusts AC voltage frequency of the inverter downward from an upper threshold until a pre-specified power output value is set while energy is being transmitted. The first induction element is paired with a track for rail traffic. The system and a method are also described for inductively transmitting energy for charging an energy storage device of a rail vehicle.

Arrangement, system and method for inductively transmitting energy for charging at least one energy store of a rail vehicle

An energy storage arrangement or configuration includes an energy store or storage device which can be connected to an electrical energy supply via a buck converter and a choke device. A boost converter is connected parallel with the energy store and the buck converter. The energy store is configured to be charged to a higher voltage level than the voltage level of the electrical energy supply. An energy storage system having multiple energy storage configurations and a method for operating an energy storage configuration are also provided.

A device stores electric energy, in particular for the traction supply of a rail vehicle. The device has a plurality of chargeable storage cells with cell poles, a cooling body that is in thermal contact with the storage cells, and a plurality of bridge members, by way of which two of the plurality of storage cells are in electric contact. Accordingly, at least some of the bridge members contact the storage cells on the sides thereof facing the cooling body. A bridge member contains a connecting web having two recesses and two connecting parts, each being introduced into one of the recesses. Each connecting part is connected to a cell pole of a storage cell to be contacted. The connecting parts are fixed non-rotatably and non-displaceably in a connecting web by a releasable tensioning device. Thus the efficiency and service life of the energy storage device can be increased by reducing the thermal resistance between the storage cells and the cooling body.

Apparatus for electrical energy storage

An electric drive system, in particular for a rail vehicle, includes an electric energy accumulator and an electrochemical energy accumulator, connected in parallel. According to at least one embodiment of the invention, a component, e.g., a diode with a transmission direction facing away from the electrochemical energy accumulator, is situated in a connecting line between the electric energy accumulator and the electrochemical energy accumulator.

Electrical drive system

An energy storage system for a track-guided vehicle includes at least one electrical energy storage device and at least one electrochemical energy storage device connected through at least one converter to a supply line and to a drive unit for the vehicle. Individual phases of said at least one converter can be operated as independent direct-current controllers for independent charging and discharging of different energy storage devices.
