A diameter measurement device for measuring the diameter of a wireline cable dynamically during moving in and out of a borehole. The measurement device has a first pair of opposed shafts, a rotating roller on each shaft of said first pair of opposed shafts, a first resilient member mounted to urge at least one of the shafts of said first pair of opposed shafts toward the wireline cable to be measured, and a first intrinsic measuring unit operatively associated with the first resilient member to measure the displacement thereof. The measuring device further has at least a second pair of opposed shafts angularly displaced with respect to the first pair of opposed shafts, a rotating roller on each shaft of said second pair of opposed shafts, a second resilient member mounted to urge at least one of the shafts of said second pair of opposed shafts toward the wireline cable to be measured, and a second intrinsic measuring unit operatively associated with the first resilient member to measure the displacement thereof as the wireline cable is moved lengthwise between the rollers; each of said first and second intrinsic measuring devices outputting to a digitizer for generating digital measurements of the diameter at various positions on the circumference of and along the length of said wireline cable, which measurements are transmitted to and stored in a logging device. At least one of the first and second intrinsic measuring units can be an eddy current measurement device to measure deflection of at least one of the first and second resilient members using eddy currents.

Using a step editor for data preparation includes: receiving an indication of a user input with respect to at least some of a set of sequenced data preparation operations on a set of data; generating, using one or more processors, a signature based at least in part on the set of sequenced data preparation operations, references to the set of data, and the user input; using the generated signature to determine whether there exists a cached result associated with the set of sequenced data preparation operations, the references to the set of data, and the user input; based at least in part on the determination, obtaining a data traversal program representing a result associated with the set of sequenced operations, the references to the set of data, and the user input; and providing output based at least in part on the result represented by the obtained data traversal program.

Step editor for data preparation

Decellularization methods for tissue are provided. The method can include: exposing a tissue to a water-saturated, supercritical CO. The method can further comprise, prior to exposing the tissue to the water-saturated, supercritical CO, saturating a stream of supercritical CO. The tissue can be exposed to the water-saturated, supercritical COat a treatment temperature of about 35&#xb0; C. to about 40&#xb0; C. (e.g., about 37&#xb0; C.). In one embodiment, the water-saturated, supercritical COis completely saturated with water at the treatment temperature. The tissue can be exposed to the water-saturated, supercritical COat a constant flow rate, such as less than 3 mL/min (e.g., about 0.5 mL/min to about 2.5 mL/min).

Presaturation of supercritical COwith water for decellularization of matrices

A modular tool including a first member and a second member each including a head portion, a shaft portion and a handle portion. The first member includes a first member slot and the second member includes a second member slot. A connector includes fasteners and a pair of locking tabs. Each of the locking tabs includes a pair of locking tab openings. The first member and the second member interlock via the first member slot and the second member slot. The pair of locking tabs are disposed within a pair of locking tab slots and the fasteners run through the pairs of locking tab openings and a pair of member openings, thereby locking the first member to the second member.

A system and method for removing residual glutaraldehyde from a natural polymer scaffold crosslinked with glutaraldehyde is provided. The system includes a cleaning solution comprising carbon dioxide and one or more polar solvents and an environmental chamber that can include and a treatment chamber. The environmental chamber is maintained at a temperature greater than 31.1&#xb0; C. and the carbon dioxide is maintained at a pressure greater than 7.38 megapascals to form supercritical carbon dioxide. A crosslinked natural polymer scaffold treated via the glutaraldehyde removal system and method can have a glutaraldehyde content of less than about 3 parts per million. A crosslinked natural polymer scaffold cleaning solution comprising supercritical carbon dioxide and one or more polar solvents is also provided.

A hair razor with interactive features including RPM control protocol that includes: an under side; an interactive display placed on the under side, where the interactive display provides access to display applications stored in memory; a top side; a digital display on the top side, where the digital display provides operational information related to the hair razor; a motor; a motherboard, where the motherboard is adapted to provide RPM control for the motor, wherein said RPM control is accomplished by syncing RPM speeds with musical notes; a USB connector on one side of the hair razor; a touch control button on the top side of the hair razor; and a power cord, the power cord supplies power to the hair razor. The interactive display is adapted to maneuver through a plurality of screen selections. The operational information shown on the digital display includes pitch tone associated with the RPM speed of the motor.

Interlocking knives are provided. The interlocking knives include at least a first knife and a second knife. The first knife includes a blade and a handle. At least one slot may be formed through the blade of the first knife. The second knife also includes a blade and a handle. The second knife includes at least one slot. The at least one slot of the second knife interlocks with the at least one slot on the first knife. A swivel plate may be pivotally connected to the first knife. The swivel plate is operable to pivot towards the second knife into a locked position, securing the second knife to the first knife.

Methods of cleaning a medical device are provided via exposing the medical device to a compressed CO-based mixture. The compressed CO-based mixture includes carbon dioxide, a surfactant, and water in the form of water-in-COmicroemulsions. In one particular embodiment, the ratio of water-to-surfactant mixed together in the COhas a range of about 5-100 molecules of water per molecule of surfactant (e.g., about 5-30 molecules of water per molecule of surfactant).

Removal of bacterial endotoxins

Methods for sterilizing a biocompatible hydrogel polymer are provided via treating the biocompatible hydrogel polymer with a supercritical COtreatment composition at a treatment pressure of about 4 MPa to about 30 MPa and a treatment temperature of about 5&#xb0; C. to about 75&#xb0; C. The supercritical COtreatment composition can be substantially pure COor may further include hydrogen peroxide (e.g., in an amount of about 10 ppm to about 1,000 ppm). In certain embodiments, the biocompatible hydrogel polymer can be treated with the supercritical COtreatment composition for about 30 minutes to about 5 hours. According to these methods, treating the biocompatible hydrogel polymer can kill about 90% or more of anyandpresent in the biocompatible hydrogel polymer.

Cold sterilization of tissue engineering scaffolds with compressed carbon dioxide

Methods are provided for making a treatment composition by loading active components into a high pressure vessel and pressurizing the high pressure vessel with carbon dioxide to reach a pressure within the high pressure vessel of about 400 pounds per square inch to about 1,070 pounds per square inch. The active components can include a protein denaturant and a surfactant, and optionally an acaricide. In one particular embodiment, this method can be used to clean a substrate, by loading the substrate into the high pressure vessel prior to pressurizing with carbon dioxide. Methods are also provided for treating a substrate to clean it from dust mites by delivering dry ice particles to the substrate, and vacuuming the substrate. Treatment compositions are also generally provided.

In accordance with certain embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for hydrolysis of a chemical hydride is provided. The method includes adding a chemical hydride to a reaction chamber and exposing the chemical hydride in the reaction chamber to a temperature of at least about 100&#xb0; C. in the presence of water and in the absence of an acid or a heterogeneous catalyst, wherein the chemical hydride undergoes hydrolysis to form hydrogen gas and a byproduct material.
