A brake lining for a disc brake includes a distribution of lining elements which are arranged on a lining support or on group supports in groups, and the group supports are secured to the lining support. The lining elements have first lining elements and second lining elements, and the group supports have a first group support and a second group support. The first lining elements are arranged on the first group support or on the lining support in a non-tiltable and/or inflexible manner, and the second lining elements are arranged on the second group support or on the lining in a tiltable and/or flexible manner.

An arrangement for a brake lining, method for actuating the brake lining and the brake lining itself are a partially lined disc brake of a rail vehicle that has a lining support and multiple group elements arranged on the lining support. The invention relates to a combination cylinder, including a service brake cylinder as an active service brake with at least one service brake piston actuated by a pressure medium, the piston actuating a brake mechanism via a service brake piston rod, and further including a spring-loaded brake cylinder as a passive parking brake with a spring-loaded brake piston actuated by a pressure medium against the action of at least one pre-loaded spring, wherein the spring-loaded brake piston in the event of the parking brake is actuated transmits the power of the at least one pre-loaded spring by means of a power-transmitting transmission to the service brake piston rod. According to the invention, the transmission is designed such that the movements of the spring-loaded brake piston and the service brake piston rod are coaxial and the power transmission increases with increasing stroke of the spring-loaded brake piston.

The invention provides for the gearing to be designed such that the movements of the spring store brake piston and of the service brake piston rod are coaxial and the force transmission ratio becomes greater with progressive stroke of the spring store brake piston.
