In a process for feeding of textile fibers supplied from a point of delivery of a textile machine to a drafting equipment which continues to process the fibers, the fibers supplied from the point of delivery are formed into a fiber sliver. They are then conveyed in the form of the fiber sliver to a drafting equipment which continues to process the fiber sliver, whereby the fibers are conveyed at least in the area before the drafting equipment by a feed mechanism and are introduced by same into the drafting equipment. In a textile machine to carry out the process, the feed mechanism is provided with a conveying channel which is located between the point of delivery and the input area of the drafting equipment and which conveys the fiber sliver. The conveying channel reaches up to the input area of the drafting equipment. The feed mechanism is provided with a drive arrangement for the conveying of the fiber sliver in the conveying channel.

The present invention concerns a stretch machine with a drive mechanism which is placed in a drive enclosure (3). This drive is covered by a movable top (2), which lies with its edge areas (24) on a stationary part (10) of the stretch machine and which top carries a blower (4) with at least one suction side and one discharge side. The blower stands with its suction side in connection with a filter (5) and with its discharge side open to the interior of the drive enclosure (3). Within the drive enclosure is provided an air distribution system (6). This is so arranged and so oriented that the blower (4) produces, in the entire peripheral area of the cover (2), an effect which is essentially of uniform strength. The invention concerns a textile machine operating on fiber band with a feeding device for the fiber band and a guide element for the fiber band and further provided with a band monitor for the discovery of band breakage. The band monitor (BW, BW1, BW2, BW3) is placed always in the area of the guide element, in particular one band guide (BF) and another band guide element (FE, FE1, FE2, FE3) in the area of the band monitor (BW, BW1, BW2, BW3). The running time behavior of the fiber band (FB) is directly improved by the guide element (FE, FE1, FE2, FE3), that is, the vibrations of the fiber band (FB) are damped. This will avoid a situation wherein false alarm signals are given because of an originally vibrating fiber band at the band monitor.

The present invention is concerned with a process for the filtering out of fibers form an air stream, in which process a stripping blade (3), for the purpose of cleaning, is moved along the surface of a filter (2) installed in a vacuum chamber (10). A guide apparatus (1) for the fiber band of a textile machine which processes fibers, is situated between a pair of delivery rolls and a pair of calender rolls. The guide apparatus (1) exhibits a nozzle assembly (2, 3) with respective guide passage axes (6, 15) which form a guide path, and which nozzle sections (2, 3) are pivotally connected at their facing contacting surfaces (9, 11). The guide passage axes (6, 15) of the nozzle sections (2, 3) are angularly offset to one another, whereby at least one nozzle section (2) is pivotable from a start-up position into an operating position about a designed pivoting axis at right angles to the guide passage axes (6, 15). Bores are defined in the punched-out shapes for receipt of the lower roller bearings. An encapsulated lubrication system supplies lubricant to the bearings and includes a channel defined through the punched-out shape with an outlet into the bore and an inlet in communication with the channel defined through the base body which is in further communication with a source of lubricant at one end thereof. The invention is a process and a device for the jigging of a flat can in a textile draw frame. According to the invention, the flat can is subjected to different dynamic moments in the translational movement along the jigging path. It is a characteristic of the invention that the speed is regularly modified in proximity of the reversal points (P1, P2), i.e. in the area of the reversal paths (UW1, UW2). The jigging device is provided with a driving device which renders the constant translational movement changeable in proximity of the reversal point (P1, P2). The driving device may be a servomotor controlled by a computer which serves as the control device. In another embodiment the diving device is a different, less expensive electric motor on the drive shaft of which belt pulleys capable of being coupled are installed.

A yarn is fed at a piecing speed to the fiber collection surface of a spinning rotor.
