The invention relates to a combination of a downhill binding or downhill ski binding, in particular a front jaw of the downhill binding, and a ski boot. The ski boot () comprises a rigid ski boot shell () and a sole () of the ski boot comprising a front end () of the sole, a rear end of the sole, an upper side () of the sole and a lower side () of the sole. The downhill binding comprises a front jaw () and a rear jaw, wherein the downhill binding comprises a bearing structure () for the sole () of the ski boot. The bearing structure () has an apex () which has a distance (X), in the longitudinal direction (X), from the front end (b) of the sole held in the downhill binding of at least 28 mm and at most 34 mm, and wherein the apex () exhibits a perpendicular distance (Y) from the upper side () of the sole of the ski boot held in the downhill binding of 19 mm&#xb1;2 mm in at least one point.

A ski boot, comprising: a rigid ski boot shell; and a sole of the ski boot which comprises a free upper side, which protrudes forwards in the longitudinal direction of the boot and/or laterally beyond the ski boot shell, and a lower side, wherein the ski boot comprises a front attaching region which co-operates with a front part of a ski binding in order to secure the ski boot, and a front region of the ski boot stands upright on a planar base via the front attaching region, wherein the upper side of the sole exhibits a distance, orthogonally with respect to the base, of at least 25 mm at a front end of the sole of the ski boot, and the upper side of the sole has a distance from the lower side of the sole, measured perpendicular to the base, of 19 mm&#xb1;2 mm at a distance from the front end of the sole, measured in the longitudinal direction, of at least 28 mm, and wherein, with the ski boot standing upright on the base, the lower side of the sole has a distance from the base of at least 5 mm throughout, up to a distance of 40 mm&#xb1;10 mm from the front end of the sole, as measured in the longitudinal direction.

Ski boot

A heel retainer for a ski binding, includes a base plate using which the heel retainer can be fastened to an upper side of a ski or snowboard; a connecting structure connectable to the base plate; and a tensioning device using which a ski boot is tensioned onto the ski. The connecting structure includes first and second connecting structure parts. The first connecting structure part can be moved relative to the second connecting structure part in the transverse release direction when the ski binding is transversely released. The tensioning device includes a sole retainer which, in direct contact with the sole of a ski boot, tensions the ski boot onto the ski or snowboard. The sole retainer is formed as a rolling body exhibiting a rotational axis and is connected to the tensioning device such that the sole retainer can be rotated about its rotational axis.

A boot retaining unit of a ski binding or snowboard binding, including at least one boot retaining element, a restoring spring for the boot retaining element, and a damping device for absorbing short, hard impacts, wherein the at least one boot retaining element and the damping device are connected via a translation mechanism, and the translation mechanism translates a deflection of the at least one boot retaining element into a larger deflection of the damping device.

A ski binding for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing has a plate which can be pivoted upwards in the front region about an axis located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski. A front ski binding and a rear heel holder for a ski boot or cross-country ski boot are fastened on the plate. At least one catch element which is arranged in front of, or in the region of, the rear sole holder can be used to secure the plate, in its rear region, on the abutment fitted on the ski. In addition, at least one catch element is arranged in the front region of the plate. The plate is fixed on the ski, and reinforced, in the manner of a conventional downhill ski binding by the further catch element in the front region of the ski binding and, in the locked state, is anchored at the front end and at the rear end, and at a number of locations therebetween, on parts of the ski or parts which have been fixed to the ski.

Ski binding

A ski boot sole for cooperating with a ski binding to releasably hold the sole in the binding, the sole having front and rear recesses with front and rear fitting plates. The front recess and the front fitting plate are engaged by the front sole holder rotatable about a longitudinal axis for releasably holding the front sole holder against displacement in the forward, sideways and vertical directions. The rear recess and rear fitting plate are engageable by the rear sole holder which is rotatable about a transverse axis. The rear sole holder butts against the portion of the fitting plate extending outside the border of the sole to secure the rear portion of the sole in the rearward, sideways and vertical directions.

Ski boot sole, disengageable ski binding and combination thereof

A combination of a ski and a ski binding wherein a long part extends in the longitudinal direction of a ski, the long part being fixed at one end and movable at the other end in response to movement of the ski, with a damping device having a fixed part fixed to the ski and a movable piston movable in response to bending of the ski, and an easily removable adapter device for changing the piston. The fixed part of the long part can be changed in length. Guiding structure can also be provided for guiding movement of the long part on the ski.

Combination of ski and ski binding

Disengageable ski binding having a carrying plate which is provided as a standing surface for a ski boot and is arranged on a ski-mounted base part such that it can be rotated about a vertical axis of the base part counter to an adjustable resistance of a first latching device, and having disengageable front and rear sole holders which are arranged on the carrying plate, it being the case that the rear sole holders can be disengaged counter to an adjustable resistance of a second latching arrangement, which is separate from the first latching device, and/or the front sole holders are locked within a predetermined angle-of-rotation region of the carrying plate, without affecting the resistance of the first latching device, and are unlocked outside the region of rotation.

Disengageable ski binding

A binding system for and on skis or snowboards having slider elements that are insertable into a guiderail arrangement and may be secured for front and rear sole holder units by multi-section retaining element. The retaining element is arranged on the skis or on the guiderail arrangement longitudinally between the slider elements.

Binding system for and on a ski or snowboard

A ski binding or a snowboard binding having boot holder components on the front end or the toe end and on the rear end or the heel end. The invention includes a holding device which is arranged between the boot holder components and this holding device connects said boot holder components by means of connection elements. These connection elements have an adjusting device having an adjusting input which can be operated by a motor-driven tool, and the connection elements are adjustable against a self-locking effect, that is, adjustable to provide some resistance to further toe-to-heel movement of the connection elements once adjusted. The connection elements can be part of a threaded spindle. The boot holder components and holding device are secured displaceably on the ski or the snowboard in a fixed manner in the vertical direction with a form-fitting connection on a guide rail extending in the longitudinal direction of the ski or snowboard.

Ski binding or snowboard binding

A device, which is preferably designed in the manner of a standing plate for a ski binding or the like, having abutments between which there is a damper unit, preferably hydraulic, which can be uncoupled from an abutment so that it is possible to switch to a state with effective damping and a state without effective damping.
