A filter element for filtering a fluid has one or more filter bellows with a specified raw side and a specified clean side oppositely positioned relative to the specified raw side. The filter bellows has a filter medium that is folded along fold edges in a zigzag shape to folds, wherein the folds extend between oppositely positioned end edges of the at least one filter bellows, wherein the filter bellows has parallel extending end edge faces at oppositely positioned end faces. At least one pre-separator embodied as a flat mat is arranged at the raw side of the filter bellows. A frame is injection-molded from plastic material around the filter bellows and seals the end edge faces. The pre-separator is fastened to the raw side with fastening elements arranged at the frame. A filter system with a filter housing is provided with such a filter element.

A filter element, in particular for filtering the intake air of an internal combustion engine, is provided with a filter medium and a sealing device extending at least partially circumferentially around the filter medium, wherein the sealing device is made from a foamed thermoplastic elastomer, and wherein the sealing device is injection molded using a plastics injection molding method.

Filter element and method for producing same

A humidification device is provided with at least one stacked unit with water vapor-permeable membranes arranged parallel and spaced apart relative to each other. The membranes each have an edge area framed by frames. The frames are formed by a film composite of a lower film and an upper film, wherein the lower and upper films of the film composite clamp the edge area of one or more of the membranes therebetween. The lower and upper films of the film composite are fixedly connected to each other. Alternatively, the frames are formed by a thermoplastic yarn that is sewn into the edge area of one or more of the membranes, respectively, wherein the thermoplastic yarn is reshaped by heat and pressure.

Filter element () has opposing end sections (A,B) of a filter material sheet () that are connected to each other in a fluid-tight manner, wherein a molded or extruded plastic casing () encloses the end edges (A,B) of the end sections (A,B). A method for producing a corresponding filter element () includes the encasing of opposing end edges (A,B) of end sections (A,B) of a filter material sheet () with a plastic casing () so as to form a continuous bellows.

An air filter element has a filter means and a circumferential plastic frame with a sealing element, which encompasses a laterally outwardly projecting border of the plastic frame in a U-shaped manner. The sealing element is one piece with a circumferential sealing lip that is arranged on a side flank of the U-shaped sealing section.

A connecting socket for a filter hose has an inner part having a first contact surface extending in a circumferential direction on the inner part and an outer part having a second contact surface extending in a circumferential direction on the outer part. A contact section of a filter hose is contacting the first and second contact surfaces when secured on the connecting socket. The outer part has an outer sleeve that is pushed onto the inner part such that the contact section of the filter hose is clamped between the first and second contact surfaces.

A connecting element () for connecting at least two end portions (A,A) of a flat filter medium () has at least three legs (A,B,C), one end portion (A,B) each being introducible between two legs (A,B,C). Under the influence of heat it is possible to connect the material of the legs with the material of the filter medium (). The connecting element () can be used in a filter element () and in particular in a filtering device (), for example an operating fluid filter for a motor vehicle. The object of a method for connecting at least two end portions (A,A) of a flat filter medium () is that the end portions (A,A) are introduced between two legs (A,B,C) each of a corresponding connecting element () and that through heating the material of the legs is connected with the material of the filter medium ().

A filter element () has first and second end sections (A,B) of a flat filter medium which are secured to one another. A sheathing () is provided, wherein said sheathing is compressed by the end sections (A,B) and surrounds the end edges () of the end sections (A,B). Alternatively, the filter element () has first and second end sections (A,B) of a flat filter medium, wherein the first end section (A) has a fold () having two fold legs (A,B). The end section (B) of the second end section (B) is then compressed between the fold legs (A,B).
