A method and system for providing absolute and zone coordinate mapping with graphic animations include presenting a user interface in an inactive state, wherein a background graphic animation and a user interface object graphic animation are presented on the user interface in an inactive format. The method and system also include determining that a touch input is provided on a touchpad to map a selected user interface object presented on the user interface based on an absolute mapped position of the touch input received on the touchpad. The method and system additionally include presenting the user interface in an active state, wherein the background graphic animation and the user interface object graphic animation are presented on the user interface in an active format.

The vehicle infotainment system includes a display screen for displaying a plurality of applications and a controller communicatively coupled to the display screen. The controller is configured to display an application on the display screen. The application is divided into a first display region, and a second display region. A vehicle infotainment system is provided. The vehicle infotainment system includes a display screen, a touchpad remote from the display screen, and a controller communicatively coupled to the display screen and to the touchpad. The controller is configured to virtually divide the touchpad into a main menu configuration. The controller is also configured to display a main menu of indicators corresponding to inactive applications, wherein the main menu occupies the entire display screen. The controller is also configured to receive a user input indicating selection of a first indicator. The controller is further configured to display selectable items associated with the first application in an interactive region of the display screen, and at least a second indicator in a non-interactive region of the display screen, and associate the touchpad with only the interactive region of the display screen.

According to one aspect, systems and techniques for driving mode control may include a steering wheel, a sensor, a display, and a controller. The steering wheel may have a button coupled thereto. The button may have a depressed state. When the button is in the depressed state, the steering wheel may be movable between a first position and a second position. The sensor may detect whether the steering wheel is in the first position or the second position. The display may display a display content. The controller may set the display content for the display or a driving mode of a vehicle, such as an autonomous driving mode or a manual driving mode, based on the detected position of the steering wheel.

A paneled partition assembly is designed to close an opening and collapses to uncover the opening by a movement of at least one panel that initiates the rotation and translation of at least one other panel. When the paneled partition assembly is in a closed or extended position, the plurality of panels covers the opening regardless of the opening's shape, size, or irregularity. When the paneled partition assembly is in an open or retracted position, the plurality of panels collapse to a smaller configuration. In moving between the extended and retracted positions, the panels rotate and translate fluidly with minimum user interaction.

A folding table and support frame assembly is disclosed. The table comprises two planar portions connected by a hinging member. One of the planar portions is coupled to a support frame such that the folded table can be moved into a stowed position within the support frame assembly. The planar portions comprise a proximal portion or inner member and a distal portion or outer member. The proximal portion and distal portion are connected to one another by the hinging member or middle member. The hinging member enables the rotation of the distal portion into a folded relationship upon the proximal portion. When the two planar portions are folded, they provide a smaller table surface in a half-open or partially extended position. When the two planar portions are opened along the hinging member, the planar portions and the hinging member provide a larger contiguous table in the fully extended position.

A seat for a vehicle and more particularly a front seat for a vehicle includes a central pillar extending from the floor to the roof of the vehicle, and a center support extending forwardly from the central pillar. A lower rib extends laterally from the center support and supports a seat bottom fixed thereto. Primary and secondary intermediate ribs also extend laterally from the central pillar. A seat back is fixed to and supported by the primary and secondary intermediate ribs. Also, an upper rib is provided which extends laterally from the central pillar above the intermediate ribs. A headrest is fixed to and supported by the upper rib.
