Disclosed is a blade mould system for manufacturing of a wind turbine blade shell, the blade mould system comprising a blade mould having a moulding surface for defining an outer shape of a blade shell part, the blade shell part having an outer surface facing the moulding surface and an inner surface facing away from the moulding surface, and a first placement tool being positioned at a first placement tool position relative to the blade mould, the placement tool being adaptable between a first configuration and a second configuration. The first placement tool being configured to engage with a blade component being in a primary component position and position the blade component at a secondary component position relative to the moulding surface by the first placement tool attaining the second configuration, wherein the blade component is configured to be attached to the blade shell part in the secondary component position, wherein the first placement tool comprises a first movable part and a first stationary part.

Wind turbine blade tool and method for producing a wind turbine blade

Disclosed is a mould tool for manufacturing a plurality of pre-form laminates for a laminate of a wind turbine blade, the mould tool comprising a frame, a first mould surface configured for receiving a first fabric, a second mould surface configured for receiving a second fabric, and a heating arrangement configured to heat the first mould surface and the second mould surface. The mould tool is configured to turn between a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein in the first configuration the first mould surface is facing substantially upwards, and in the second configuration the second mould surface is facing substantially upwards.

Disclosed is a wind turbine blade and a method for its manufacture. The wind turbine blade comprises an upwind side shell part, a downwind side shell part, a leading edge and a trailing edge. A flatback web is arranged at the trailing edge, which couples the upwind side shell part with the downwind side shell part, wherein the flatback web comprises at least one U-shaped end section with a recess, into which the upwind side shell part and/or the downwind side shell part is inserted and bonded to the U-shaped end section by an adhesive.

Wind turbine blade and method for producing a wind turbine blade

Disclosed is a wind turbine blade and a method for its manufacture. A lower shell part and an upper shell part are provided, each shell part having a leading edge end and a trailing edge end. A flatback profile component and web for connecting an inner surface of the lower side shell part with an inner surface of the upper side shell part are connected. The assembly which comprises the flatback profile component and the at least one web are placed on the lower shell part and the upper shell part is mounted. The wind turbine blade comprises a flatback profile component being arranged at the trailing edge, wherein the flatback profile component is coupled by at least one distance holder with at least one web, wherein the web couples the interior surface of the upwind side shell part with the interior surface of the downwind side shell part.

Method for producing a wind turbine blade and wind turbine blade

This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wind turbine blade and a wind turbine blade thereof. A central core element and a plurality of side core elements are sandwiched between first layers and second layers of a first fibre material. The central core element is spaced apart from the side core elements to form a first and a second recess. This sandwich structure is then impregnated with a first resin and cured in a first step. Layers of a second fibre material of a first and a second main laminate are laid up in the first and second recesses. The first and second main laminates are then impregnated with a second resin and cured in a second step.

Wind turbine blade and a method of manufacturing the wind turbine blade

This invention relates to a wind turbine blade component, a method of manufacturing such a wind turbine blade component and a wind turbine blade comprising the wind turbine blade component. The wind turbine blade component comprising a stack of layers arranged in a first group and in a second group, wherein the layers of each group has the same width. The layers of each group is continuously offset in an edgewise direction to form a tapered edge profile. The first group of layers may be arranged relative to the second group, or in an alternating order. The layers of the first group may further have a first length which is greater than a second length of the layers of the second group.

A method of assembling a wind turbine blade from wind turbine blade elements is provided. The method comprises joining the elements via a taper joint around the whole circumference of the blade.
