Systems and methods for preventing slippage and rotation of components installed along a rotatable tubular shaft and/or in a tubular housing member during drilling operations are disclosed herein. The housing and/or rotatable shaft include a shoulder disposed proximate to one end. An adjustable member is secured proximate to the opposite end. One or more components are installed, covering a first portion of the surface between the adjustable member and shoulder. One or more spacing members are installed to cover substantially all of the remaining surface. The adjustable member is tightened such that the adjustable member and the shoulder apply a compressive axial load to the components and spacing members, causing frictional forces between adjacent objects greater than the torque acting on the housing and/or tubular shaft, causing each component to remain stationary with respect to the surface to which it is secured.

Systems and methods for preventing slippage and rotation of components installed in a tubular housing member and/or along a rotatable tubular shaft during drilling operations are disclosed herein. System and method for preventing slippage and rotation of components in a tubular housing

An aesthetically striking memento comprising an edge-lit translucent panel having an inscribed design, and a free-standing compact base unit with integral LED edge-lighting system. The compact base unit includes an LED light source for reflecting light upward into the translucent panel. The plaque generally comprises an acrylic panel inscribed with a reverse design on its rear face with text, logos and/or graphics and which seats within a recessed cavity in the compact base unit. A reflective material lines the floor of the cavity and surrounds a series of LEDs spaced lengthwise along the slot at the bottom of the cavity. An integral battery or A/C power receptacle provides power to the LEDs through a switch located in the compact base unit. When illuminated, the LEDs emit light upward into the translucent acrylic panel. The light is reflected forwardly from the inwardly-inscribed design and outward to a viewer, thereby accentuating the inscribed indicia carried on the panel.

A method and apparatus is provided for amplifying electronic signals in a linear fashion while maintaining DC power efficiency. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a coupler receiving an input signal and connected to a non-linear amplifier. A tone generator is also connected to the coupler, and generates a tone signal at a selected frequency. The coupler combines the tone signal and an input signal and provides the combined signal to the amplifier. The combined signal is amplified and bandpass filtered to remove spectral by-products. The power of the tone wave generator signal is selected so as to cause the nonlinear amplifier to operate near its saturation point but in a linear region. The effect is to linearize the operation of the nonlinear amplifier, while simultaneously minimizing the presence of intermods and maintaining a relatively high level of DC power efficiency. Various modifications are also disclosed, wherein the amplitude of the tone signal is adjusted according to the power level of the input and/or output signal.
