An actuating device () for manually releasing a parking lock device () of a transmission () includes a manual actuator () and a pivotably mounted actuating shaft (). The actuating shaft () includes a shaft outer section (), to which the manual actuator () is attached, and includes a shaft inner section (), on which a parking disk () is mounted. The parking disk () includes a recess (), and on which an engaging piece is mounted, which includes a projection () engaging into the recess (). The engaging piece is an engaging lever () which includes a foot section () for mounting the engaging lever () on the shaft inner section () of the actuating shaft (), and includes the projection () on a head section () positioned opposite a foot section ().
