A method of notifying a first User Equipment, UE, of a subscriber in a telecommunication network on a dialog status of a second UE of said same subscriber, said method comprising the steps of receiving, by an Application Server, AS, in said telecommunication network a register message for indicating to said AS that said first UE has registered in said telecommunication network, wherein said register message comprises an indication that said first UE is capable to receive Dialog Event notifications regarding dialog status events of UEs associated with said same subscriber, retrieving, by said AS, and triggered by said receiving of said register message, said dialog status of said second UE of said same subscriber, and sending, by said AS, to said first UE, a notify message for notifying said first UE on said retrieved dialog status of said second UE.

The invention proposes controlling a media session involving a plurality of media streams within a communications network, wherein the communications network comprises a media resource node () and a media control node controlling () the media resource node, wherein the media control node performs a method of determining that selected media streams out of the plurality of media streams are associated to each other in a media session, transmitting to the media resource node () an instruction to group the selected media streams of the media session, and transmitting to the media resource node () an instruction to prepare for performing an action with respect to the selected media streams. Performing an action on certain media streams in a multimedia communications network

According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of implementing a conference for a user of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). The method comprises, at a Telephony Application Server (TAS) that provides IMS multimedia supplementary services to the user, receiving a request for a conference from the user, designating a Public User Identity (PUI) of the user as an identifier for a conference service provided by the TAS that is to host the conference for the user, receiving signalling relating to a call intended for the user, and using the designated PUI to determine if the call can be connected to a conference hosted by the TAS for the user.
