A vacancy identification (VI) computing device is provided. The VI computing device includes a processor in communication with a memory. The processor generates a storefront profile including a status indicator for a candidate storefront located at a commercial property, stores the storefront profile within the memory, and registers a user to receive notifications for the candidate storefront. The processor also receives transaction data associated with the candidate storefront for a predetermined period of time, determines that the candidate storefront is vacant based on the transaction data, updates the status indicator to indicate that the candidate storefront is vacant, and transmits a notification to the registered user advising the registered user that the candidate storefront is vacant.

A method for determining an economic impact of a candidate event includes receiving an event type identifier representing an event type of a candidate event to occur, and building a reference data store including historical transaction data records of payment transactions occurring in reference geographic areas associated with a reference event having the event type identifier. The method includes registering the authorized cardholder within a portable computer device by receiving a reference sample of the authorized cardholder. The portable computer device includes a processor, a memory, and a camera. The method also includes storing, in the memory, the reference sample of the authorized cardholder and associated payment card information. The method further includes using the camera to capture a transaction sample of the suspect consumer during the payment card transaction using the camera. The method also includes comparing, by the processor, the transaction sample to the reference sample stored in the memory. The method further includes authenticating the suspect consumer as the authorized cardholder based at least in part on the comparison.

Systems and methods for performing payment card transactions using a wearable computing device

A system and method is disclosed for the real-time active surveillance of disease. The system generates an outbreak detection model by analyzing the spending records of individuals who are known to be infected to identify purchases and purchase patterns that correlate to infection in the population with a disease. Based on the identified purchases, the system generates probabilistic identification criteria and merges the criteria to simulation models of infection spread by geography to generate a geospatial outbreak detection model. The system applies the generated model to spending records, in real time, to identify and monitor disease spread in the population. The system can also generate alerts if the likelihood that an individual is infected, or one or more individuals in a set or population is infected exceeds a threshold. Actions are taken at remote devices, such as mobile phones, computers and POS terminals in certain embodiments.

System and method for conducting real time active surveillance of disease outbreak

A system and method is disclosed for determining an optimized sequence of visits by a consumer to a plurality of merchant locations irrespective of travel distance. The system is configured to receive, from the consumer, errand data including start time and start and finish location and a plurality of merchant locations to visit. The system also generates one or more models for predicting visit durations the merchant locations as a function of time using transaction data and location data associated with a plurality of consumers that previously visited the merchant locations. Based on the generated models, and current and historical travel/traffic information and the errand data, the system generates an optimized sequence of visits for the consumer.

They may also be obliquely disposed on the upper side of the liquid crystal display plate for projection purposes.
