The system includes a room controller having a microprocessor for accessing data and providing commands, memory for storing information operably connected to the microprocessor, a relay for powering a load based on commands from the microprocessor, and a port for connecting a peripheral device. The system also includes a peripheral device connected to the port and configured to send data including a device type and a device instance byte to the controller indicating the type of peripheral device. The device instance byte includes a port number identifying the port and a slot number identifying a time slot within a time domain multiplexing cycle. The system also includes a load connected to the relay.

The method including sensing, via a first sensor, a first light intensity corresponding to a natural light in a room, sensing, via a second sensor, a second light intensity for a zone of the room, determining, via the controller, an expected light intensity, and determining, via the controller, whether the second light intensity exceeds the expected light intensity. The method further including, in response to determining that the second light intensity exceeds the expected light intensity, determining, via the controller, an artificial light intensity, determining, via the controller, the drive signal based on a desired light intensity for the zone of the room, the artificial light intensity, the first light intensity, and the second light intensity, and controlling, via the controller, the driver to provide the drive signal to the LED array.

The method includes placing the microcontroller into a subordinate operation mode when the second sync packet is received from the bus during the master sync timeout period.

The electronic processor is configured to receive from an occupancy sensor, a plurality of occupancy data points and an occupancy threshold, and to generate a graphical representation based on the data points and the threshold. The graphical representation includes a first line providing an indication of the values of the plurality of the occupancy data points relative to the occupancy threshold over time. The electronic processor is configured to present the graphical representation on the display. The electronic processor is configured to receive a user input indicating an updated occupancy sensing value, generate, based on the graphical representation and the updated occupancy sensing value, an updated graphical representation, present, on the display, the updated graphical representation, and transmit, to the occupancy sensor, the updated occupancy sensing value.

A lighting system including a driver providing a first drive signal and a second drive signal; an LED array coupled to the driver and configured to receive the first second drive signals; a sensor positioned to sense light intensity for a zone; and an electronic controller.
