A chemical dispensing device includes a turbine having a diluent inlet and a diluent outlet; a pump having a chemical inlet and a chemical outlet, wherein the pump is connected with and actuated by rotation of the turbine; a mixing chamber having a mixing inlet and a mixing outlet; wherein the diluent inlet is configured for direct connection with a supply of pressurized diluent; wherein the pump inlet is configured for connection with a supply of chemical concentrate; wherein the diluent outlet and chemical outlet are in fluid communication with the mixing inlet of the mixing chamber. The chemical dispensing device of the present disclosure may further include a backflow preventer separating the diluent outlet from the mixing inlet and being configured to prevent flow of fluid from the mixing chamber to the diluent outlet. An associated method of diluting and dispensing a chemical concentrate is also described.

Disclosed are: an assembly and method for thin bread-like food having a housing, rotatable drum, infeed roller for moving food toward drum rotation, and a drum heater. A radiant heater associated with the housing radiates heat towards food on the drum. Food can be directed toward the infeed roller by an infeed platform. The drum can be rotatably supported by a bearing arrangement. An interior drum heater and a thermostat sensor can also be supported by the bearing. A guide can contact food that separates from the drum, to redirect it toward the drum surface. A discharge scraper can separate food from the drum. A discharge roller can direct food from the drum toward a discharge direction. A motor drive assembly can drive drum, infeed roller and discharge roller rotation.

Disclosures of roller tube grill temperature control assemblies and methods for human food have a sensing device to fit between a pair of tubes with sides that conform to the tube surface, and an associated temperature-sensing component for detecting the sensing device temperature. An electrical control arrangement in electrical connection with a heating element disposed within a tube can control electricity, with mechanisms to modify the set point. A biasing member biases the sensing device. Such device can also have on or more tube receiving inner openings located between the sides of the device. A sealing assembly comprises a bearing member and an annular sealing member. A drive chain engages an idler sprocket to rotate the tubes. The housing has a cavity that receives a sliding compartment assembly that has a frame comprising track members and a cross strut shaped to support a pan for holding food. A guard for covering food located with a housing has first and second legs shaped to fit about the housing to resist transverse movement relative to the housing. The guard can be transparent and having openings at first and second positions. A flap is mounted to be movable relative to each opening. The flap covers its openings in a first position and is movable to a second position to allow a hand to extend through the opening to grasp food. The guard can have voids to receive flap lugs to allow the flap to pivot relative thereto. The flap may have a trapezoidal shape, and the sides of the cover may slant inwardly from their bottoms towards their tops. The flap may have a handle section and can be made of flexible material.

A wall is spaced above the housing cavity and beneath the tubes. The axes of the tubes and idler extend at an angle of about 3&deg; to 5&deg; from one end of the frame to the other.

This invention relates to assemblies for pumping from a container, dispensing and heating or cooling edible viscous food products having the viscosity of ketchup, mustard, melted cheese, sour cream, salsa or the like. More specifically, the invention relates to peristaltic pumping and dispensing assembly with housing and heating/cooling flow channels for dispensing food products with such viscosity.
