A user interface for a surgical system can include a display configured to output video images of a remote surgical site at which one or more electrosurgical instruments of the surgical system are deployed; and a graphical user interface configured to be output on the display with the video images. The graphical user interface may comprise a visual indication of a state of the one or more electrosurgical instruments that indicates a state of the one or more electrosurgical instruments being ready for activation to deliver energy or actively delivering energy.

Adaptable integrated energy control system for electrosurgical tools in robotic surgical systems

Described herein are systems and methods for providing personalized oral care. A system for oral care comprises an oral insert. The oral insert is sized and shaped according to a user's oral cavity, and has a plurality of fluid nozzles and an effluence conduit to channel fluid out of the user's oral cavity. Pressurized fluid provided through the nozzles are directed to, for example, the interproximal spaces between the user's teeth. In some variations, a system comprises an oral insert and an elastomeric substrate that is attached to the oral insert. In some variations, the elastomeric substrate comprises a textured surface vibrates and/or mechanically agitates and/or translates along the surface of the user's teeth. In some variations, a system for oral care comprises a microbiome collection chamber. Some variations comprise dental shim devices that are used for acquiring oral structure data and alignment between the upper and lower arches.

An oral insert includes a plurality of fluid nozzles, a plurality of manifolds, and an attachment mechanism configured to be releasably attach with a handle. Each of the manifolds is associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of fluid nozzles. The processor is configured to place the system in a clutching mode; transition the system from the clutching mode to a set-up mode in response to detecting a joint operation of the kinematic structure; while in the set-up mode, determine an input displacement of a link from an initial positional relationship relative to a portion of the kinematic structure to a displaced positional relationship relative to the portion of the kinematic structure; and while in the set-up mode and in response to the determined input displacement, drive the kinematic structure so that the link returns toward the initial positional relationship relative to the portion of the kinematic structure.

Robotic and/or surgical devices, systems, and methods include a robotic device. The robotic device includes a manipulator, a drive unit coupled to the manipulator, and a processor coupled with the drive unit. The processor is configured determine that a cannula is mounted to the manipulator and inhibit, using the drive unit, manual articulation of the manipulator in response to determining that the cannula is mounted to the manipulator. In some embodiments, the robotic device further includes a linkage. The processor is further configured to determine a manual effort against the manipulator; inhibit, using the drive unit, the manual articulation of the linkage in response to the manual effort being below an articulation threshold; and facilitate, using the drive unit and in response to not determining that the cannula is mounted to the manipulator, the manual articulation of the linkage in response to the manual effort exceeding the articulation threshold.
