Slider element for lifting columns, preferably for height-adjustable tables, said lifting columns comprise at least two profilesarranged telescopically relative to each other, where the slider elementhas a first sliderand a second sliderbetween which there is a designated breaking line. The slider element is mounted with the second slideron the outer side of the inner profile, and is subsequently guided into the hollow of the outer profile, by which the first slideraffixes itself to the inner side of the outer profile and when the two profiles are retracted further, the designated breaking linebetween the first and the second sliderwill break, by which they appear as two separate sliders mounted on a profile each. Thus, a simplified mounting of the sliders is achieved. In addition, it can be constructed such that the sliders are completely concealed within the lifting column.

Slider element for lifting columns

The invention relates to a supporting frame with a base unit comprising a compartment at least for partial reception of the housing of the lifting column () and a cross member () for mounting on the base unit (). The supporting frame comprises a locking element (), which when placed in-a locked position exerts a squeezing force between the base unit (), the lifting column housing and the cross member (), by which the lifting column housing and the cross member () are fixed in the base unit (). The supporting frame further comprises means for retaining the locking element in the locked position. The lifting columns are of the type, which comprises telescopically arranged profiles with an upper and lower end to which upper end a housing is secured.

Supporting frame for a piece of furniture

A linear actuator especially for adjustable furniture comprises a spindle () with a spindle nut () for bringing about the adjustment of the article of furniture. At the end of the spindle () there is a bearing () for mounting of this in the actuator. The spindle/spindle nut () is driven by an electric motor () through a transmission (). For preventing accidents and/or damage during the adjustment of the article of furniture the actuator is equipped with a squeeze protection based on a piezo element (). This piezo element () is arranged in connection with the bearing () for registering the forces or deflections of the forces affecting the spindle (). In that the piezo element () has a through-going hole for the spindle the mounting of the piezo element () is simplified and further it has turned out that a particularly good signal/noise ratio is obtained.

Linear actuator

A lifting column, preferably for height-adjustable tables comprises a guide with three mutually telescopic members () and a motor driven spindle unit for bringing about the movement. The second member () of the guide is with a lower end secured to a lower end of the second spindle (). The second spindle nut () co-operating with the second spindle () is with a bearing () with a rigid connection () fixed to a shaft stub () secured to an upper end of a drive tube (). The shaft stub () is via a second bearing () secured to a mounting plate (), by means of which the spindle unit is secured in the lifting column. Thus, the vertical load on the lifting column is led through the spindle unit around the guide (). This enables a better and more optimum dimensioning of the guide () and the spindle unit, just as it is advantageous in terms of assembly and not least it enables a better implementing of a squeeze protection in the lifting columns.

Motor housing for a linear actuator

A linear actuator, especially for telescopic lifting columns () comprising a reversible electric motor () and a transmission () located in a box-shaped housing (). A Linear movable activation element (), preferably a spindle unit (-) connected to the transmission () is secured to the housing ()). The activation element is intended for moving an adjustable element, e.g. a table top in the structure into which the actuator should be incorporated. The housing () is equipped with internal reinforcements () for strengthening said housing in its longitudinal direction and possibly also in its transverse direction. Thus a linear actuator with sufficient rigidity for use in sitting/standing tables without cross member is achieved.
