Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for predicting a neurological injury to a participant in an activity. The activity can be, for example, an athletic activity that involves repeated, high-impact collisions between participants. Sensor data reflecting interactions between participants in the activity is received from various wearable and non-wearable sensors. The sensor data is evaluated in conjunction with a baseline neurological risk profile of a participant to determine a likelihood that the participant has suffered a potential neurological injury. If this likelihood meets a threshold risk level, an onsite request/response test is initiated to glean more information relating to the participant's condition. Response data associated with the onsite test is cognitively evaluated to determine an updated likelihood of neurological injury to the participant and a follow-up action is determined based on the updated likelihood of neurological injury.

Smart prediction of neurological injury

Methods, systems and computer program products for providing a customized display of social media content are provided. Aspects include receiving a plurality of social media posts that have been published for display by a social media service. Aspects also include receiving a profile associated with a user of the social media service including social media post filtering preferences. The social media post filtering preferences are created based at least in part upon an analysis of social media posts that were previously disliked by the user. Aspects further include identifying a set of acceptable social media posts and a set of unacceptable social media posts. Aspects also include causing the set of acceptable social media posts to be displayed in a news feed window of the social media service in association with an account of the user of the social media service.

Customized display of filtered social media content using a private dislike button

A system includes a shared memory accessible by a plurality of members of a shared memory system, and a processor operably coupled to the shared memory system. The processor is configured to receive a command from an exploiting member of the plurality of members, the command instructing an update to a piece of shared data, perform the update to the piece of shared data, and send an invalidation signal to each other member of the plurality of members. An invalidation signal sent to a respective member indicates that a local copy of the piece of data stored by the respective member is no longer valid, and each invalidation signal is sent asynchronously with respect to processing of the command. The processor is further configured to return the results of the command to the exploiting member.

A computing system is configured to maintain equivalency of independent queues located in different coupling facilities. The computer system includes a first coupling facility and a second coupling facility. The first coupling facility receives a plurality of different commands instructing the first coupling facility to load data into a first structure. The first coupling facility generates a first command data block including first data corresponding to a received first command and a first sequence value indicating a sequence at which the first data was loaded into the first structure with respect to remaining data corresponding to the plurality of commands. A second coupling facility includes a second structure and a second queue. The second coupling facility receives the first command data block from a first queue of the first coupling facility and loads the first data from the second queue into the second structure based on the first sequence value.

Methods, systems and computer program products for updating a route of a vehicle based on a broadcast emergency signal are provided. Aspects include receiving, by a navigational device associated with the vehicle, the broadcast emergency signal indicating a route of an emergency vehicle and determining, by the navigational device, whether the route of the vehicle associated with the navigational device overlaps with the route of the emergency vehicle. Aspects also include determining a revised route for the vehicle based on a determination that the route of the vehicle associated with the navigational device overlaps with the route of the emergency vehicle.

Route modification based on receiving a broadcast emergency vehicle route

A method, computing device, and computer program product are provided for automatically generating contextual image tests implemented on a computer. An image is received by a computer. Sections of the image are altered to appear out of context or wrong to human users. The user must then identify the errors to pass the CAPTCHA.
