A power circuit breaker is intended to be effectively locked in a simple manner in a withdrawable-part rack. For this purpose, a locking device is provided having a first component, which is fixed in the withdrawable-part rack, and a second component, which is fixed to the power circuit breaker. The first component and the second component do not engage with one another in the inserted position. However, in the event of a short circuit they engage with one another in a tilted position of the power circuit breaker, which position is rotated with respect to the inserted position, with the result that the power circuit breaker is locked in the withdrawable-part rack.

An electric power circuit breaker includes a connecting bar against which an arcing horn rests with an attaching limb. The connecting bar extends through an opening of a rear wall of the housing. In order to connect the arching horn to the connecting bar, a projection is provided on the attaching limb of the arcing horn and a recess that accommodates the projection is provided on the connecting bar. When inserting the connecting bar with the arching horn resting thereon, the attaching limb of the arching horn is covered by a collar mounted on the housing. The attaching device grasp a fillet located on the underside of the connecting bar.

A device is for fixing a circuit breaker in an insertion rack. The device includes at least one arresting unit which is connected to the insertion rack and belongs to the power circuit breaker. The arresting unit is connected to a control rod which is movably arranged on the insertion rack in such a way that it is displaceable from a locking position to an unlocking position and vice-versa. The control rod interacts with a system which moves the power circuit breaker in relation to the insertion rack. The device also includes a release device which can be displaced from the locking position of the control rod to the releasing position thereof and vice-versa by way of the power circuit breaker.

A power circuit breaker includes a switching pole enclosure for accommodating at least one switching pole, whose switching contacts, when closed, rest against one another on a predetermined contact plane. It further includes a switching shaft for transferring drive forces to the at least one switching pole. The switching pole enclosure includes a first and a second enclosure shell, which rest against one another along a separating joint running essentially parallel to the contact plane, and in which the switching shaft is mounted by use of at least two switching shaft mounts held on the first enclosure shell. At least one first and one second fastening device, each serving the purpose of connecting the two enclosure shells, is in each case supported on the one hand on the second enclosure shell and on the other hand on one of the switching shaft mounts.

Power circuit breaker

A chamber cover fixing is for arc quenching chambers for low voltage switchgears operating in air. The arc quenching chamber cover is fixed to the arch quenching chamber, by use of interlocking guide and lock elements, without the use of screws. In addition to the sliding guide elements in the arc quenching chamber housing and in the arc quenching chamber cover, one or several clips or locking grooves for engaging the clips are provided.
