An axial piston machine may include a rotor rotatably mounted in a housing. A plurality of cylinders may be arranged in a ring around the rotor. A plurality of pistons may each be arranged within each of the plurality of cylinders and may be constructed and arranged to selectively translate within the plurality of cylinders. A plurality of inlet openings may be defined in a cylinder head and at least one outlet opening may be defined in the housing. The plurality of cylinders may be in operative communication with the plurality of inlet openings and the at least one outlet opening. An inlet channel may be defined in the cylinder head and may extend to each of the plurality of inlet openings. An outlet channel may be defined in the housing and may be in operative communication with the at least one outlet opening. A bypass channel may be defined in the housing and may extend from the cylinder head into one of the outlet channel or a swashplate space. A bypass valve may be connected to the cylinder head or may be integrated with the cylinder head. The bypass valve may be constructed and arranged to selectively apportion a working medium to the inlet channel and the bypass channel based on a switching position of the bypass valve.

Axial piston machine

A cylinder head cover and a method for producing a cylinder head cover are disclosed. The method for producing a cylinder head cover may include: providing at least two metallic bearing bridges including a respective through-opening for mounting at least one camshaft and aligning the respective through-opening of the at least two bearing bridges axially relative to one another; connecting at least one metallic connection element to the at least two bearing bridges in a fixed manner so that the at least two bearing bridges are fixed and aligned relative to one another; and at least partially overmoulding the at least two bearing bridges and the at least one connection element with a plastic material.

Cylinder head cover

An adjustable camshaft may have an inner shaft and an outer shaft arranged coaxially thereto, the outer shaft having a recess, and the inner shaft having a recess open towards the outer shaft. The camshaft may also include a first cam connected to the inner shaft in a torque-proof manner, and a second cam connected to the outer shaft in a torque-proof manner. The camshaft may further include at least one axial bearing element fixed in the recess of the outer shaft and that engages in the recess of the inner shaft.

A device for mounting at least one receiving element on a shaft may include at least one holder for holding a receiving element having a cut-out for receiving a shaft. A moveable guide slide may be configured to move the shaft in a first direction through the cut-out in the receiving element. A tailstock may be configured to move counter to the first direction. The tailstock may include a tailstock tip configured to couple to an end face of the shaft. A vibration generator may be arranged in the tailstock for vibrating the shaft.

Device for mounting at least one functional element having a cut-out for a shaft

An adjustable camshaft may include an inner shaft and an outer shaft disposed coaxial therewith. A first cam may be connected non-rotatably to the inner shaft, and a second cam may be connected non-rotatably to the outer shaft. At least two bearing elements may be connected fixedly to the outer shaft. The first cam may be disposed between the at least two bearing elements. The at least two bearing elements may fix the first cam in an axial direction relative to the outer shaft, and the at least two bearing elements via the first cam may fix the inner shaft in the axial direction relative to the outer shaft.

An adjustable camshaft may include an inner shaft and an outer shaft arranged coaxially thereto, a first element connected to the inner shaft in a rotationally fixed manner via a first pin guided through a first elongated hole of the outer shaft extending in a circumferential direction, and a second element connected to the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The inner shaft may be fixed in the axial direction with respect to the outer shaft via the first elongated hole and the first pin guided therein, via a second elongated hole matched to a second pin guided therein, or via the first elongated hole, a third elongated hole opposite the first elongated hole, and the first pin guided therein.

A roller-bearing mounted shaft may include a shaft tube having a shaft outer face with at least one rolling body running face. The shaft tube may have at least one functional element joined thermally thereto, wherein the shaft tube is formed as a welded and drawn tube and includes a carbon content of greater than 0.45 percent by mass.

An adjustable camshaft may include an inner shaft and an outer shaft arranged coaxially thereto. The camshaft may also include a camshaft adjuster having a stator connected to the outer shaft in a torque-proof manner, and a rotor connected to the inner shaft. The camshaft may further include an integral first connection contour provided at an end of the inner shaft, and an integral second connection contour complementary to the integral first connection contour and provided on the rotor. The connection contours may directly or indirectly enable an interlocking connection between the inner shaft and the rotor.

Camshaft

A bearing arrangement for a camshaft may include a bearing ring arranged between two functional elements. The bearing ring may be supported with respect to the functional elements via axial front sides. At least one of the axial front sides of the bearing ring and a side of the respective functional elements in sliding contact with the axial front side may have a polymer coating.

The present invention relates to a camshaft () for an internal combustion engine with a drive wheel () arranged on a longitudinal end side, in particular with a chain wheel or belt pulley, and with at least one first bearing () arranged in the region of the drive wheel () and a second bearing () arranged in the further course of the camshaft (). Here it is substantial to the invention that at least the first bearing () is designed as a rolling bearing and has an inner diameter of 24 mm&#x3c;d&#x3c;30 mm, wherein the inner diameter dis larger than the outer diameter dof the camshaft () on the second bearing (). Because of this, the camshaft () can be configured more compact and lighter.

Camshaft for an internal combustion engine

A bearing block comprises a camshaft in an internal combustion engine and a valve drive. The valve drive may include at least one rocker arm mounted on a rocker arm shaft, wherein the bearing block is formed concurrently with the mounting of the at least one rocker arm.

Various exemplary illustrations of a camshaft assembly for actuating valves of an engine are disclosed. The camshaft assembly may include a camshaft having a plurality of lobes, including at least one phase adjustable lobe configured to be selectively rotated with respect to the camshaft. The assembly may further include a hydraulic valve actuator in communication with a first lobe of the camshaft. The hydraulic valve actuator may be configured to selectively actuate at least one valve in communication with the hydraulic valve actuator in response to the at least one cam lobe.

Variable valve phasing lift and duration

A camshaft for a combustion engine has a shaft and at least one cam thermally joined to a joining surface on the shaft side via a joining surface on the cam side. The shaft is embodied as a drawn and not additionally worked tube. Because of this the production of commercial vehicle camshafts can be realized in a more cost-effective manner since these do not have to be additionally ground or turned.

A bearing block may support a camshaft on a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The bearing block is formed in one-piece and is provided with an annular closed bearing eye for the camshaft. Thus, the bearing block may be made smaller and thus lighter.

A cylinder head cover having a bearing device that includes at least two bearing blocks for supporting a camshaft, and one connecting element. The bearing blocks are axially penetrated in a first through-opening by the camshaft and are fixed in an aligned position with respect to one another by the connecting element. The bearing blocks, the connecting element and the camshaft form a prefabricated assembly. The cylinder head cover is connected via at least one additional connecting element with the bearing device, whereby a unit consisting of the cylinder head cover and the bearing device are mounted on the cylinder head.
