A filter device for gas filtration has a filter housing and a plate-type filter element disposed in the filter housing. The filter element is provided with a raw side and a clean side and is flowed through from the raw side to the clean side by a gas to be purified in a direction that is orthogonal to a filter plane of the plate-type filter element. A cover element is connected to the filter housing by a tensioning bolt penetrating the filter element. The filter element has a cutout forming a clean-side gas collecting chamber. A sealing element is arranged on the clean side of the filter element and frames the gas collecting chamber at least partially. A sealing eye is connected to the sealing element and arranged in the gas collecting chamber, wherein the tensioning bolt is guided through the sealing eye.

A filter device has a filter housing with first and second sealing surfaces. A plate-type filter element is mountable exchangeably in the filter housing. The filter element has a filter medium body, a circumferentially extending seal, and a sealing bracket connected to the seal. The first sealing surface extends in the filter element plane; the second sealing surface extends partially outside of the filter element plane. The seal contacts seal-tightly the first sealing surface; the sealing bracket seal-tightly contacts the second sealing surface.

A filter element for a filter device for gas filtration has at least two individual filters which are disposed adjacent to each other and through which the gas to be purified can flow orthogonally to the filter plane. On at least two sides, the individual filters delimit a gas collection chamber that is open on the edge side and that is fluidically connected to the clean sides of the individual filters and used to accommodate the purified gas.

Air intake system for an internal combustion engine

A filter insert and a method for producing the same in which the filter insert has an accordion-folded filter medium. In a first operating step, folded edges are impressed on the filter medium. Subsequently, by glue application devices which are provided with glue application nozzles, at least two glue beads are applied to the surface of the filter medium and the folding is carried out subsequently. At least one of the glue application devices is movable transversely to the transport direction of the filter medium.
