A method for producing a printed circuit board on a substrate uses control data derived from a circuit schematic, CAD file, Gerber file or files or equivalents, to operates a function head configured to effect printing conductive and non-conductive materials on the substrate and produces control data to effect the circuit printing. The method optionally uses a layout translation module configured to accept PCB multilayer circuit board files and convert multilayer circuit board layout data of the PCB multilayer circuit board files to printing data files for controlling the function head to print conductive material and nonconductive material onto the substrate to produce a printed circuit effecting functionality of the multilayer circuit board layout data.

An apparatus for producing a printed circuit board on a substrate, has a table for supporting the substrate, a function head configured to effect printing conductive and non-conductive materials on the substrate, a positioner configured to effect movement of the function head relative to the table, and a controller configured to operate the function head and the positioner to effect the printing of conductive and non-conductive materials on the substrate. The apparatus optionally has a layout translation module configured to convert PCB files or multilayer PCB files to printing data for controlling the function head to print conductive material and nonconductive material onto the substrate. The apparatus has a testing head to verify conductors which operates automatically. The translation module also prints nonconductive material component alignment areas and nonconductive material substrate stiffeners.

Apparatus for depositing conductive and nonconductive material to form a printed circuit

The apparatus optionally has a layout translation module configured to accept PCB files or multilayer PCB files to printing data for controlling the function head to print conductive material and nonconductive material onto the substrate. Conductive traces having varying thickness may be produced on a common substrate. Conductive regions are printed to electrically isolate traces and optional to present an approximately level surface.

A system and method for controlling access to a wireless networking system using RFID tags is provided. The security system and method uses RFID tags to determine the location of mobile computing device. The security system and method selectively allows access to the wireless networking system based on the determined location of the mobile computing device. For example, the security system and method will permit access to the wireless networking system if the mobile computing device is determined to be in an area of permitted access. Conversely, the security system and method will deny access to the wireless networking system if the mobile computing device is determined to be not within an area of permitted access. Thus, the system and method is able to effectively control access to the wireless networking system by only permitting access to mobile devices within designated areas.

Object location based security using RFID

An object location system and method is provided for locating objects. The system includes an RFID reader, an angle calculator, and a distance calculator to determine which of a plurality of zones an object is located in or passing through. An RFID tag is affixed with the object that is to be located. The RFID reader transmits signals to the RFID tag and receives backscatter-modulated signals from the RFID tag at one or more RFID antennas. From those received signals, the angle calculator determines an angle of position of the RFID tag relative to the RFID antenna. From the angle of position the zone in which the object is located is determined.
