A system for vector network analysis of a device under test, comprising at least two measurement receivers, at least one signal generator device formed separately from the at least two measurement receivers, and at least one data processing unit connected with the measurement receivers. The connection between the data processing unit and at least one of the measurement receivers is flexible so that the position of the measurement receiver is adjustable. Further, a method for vector network analysis of a device under test is described.

Summarizing, the present invention relates to a test arrangement in the test method for acquiring test data in the surrounding of a device under test. At least two measurement devices are arranged in the surrounding of the device under test, wherein the two measurement devices are communicatively coupled for phase locking. At least one of the measurement devices can be moved around the device under test for acquiring measurement data, wherein the measurement devices comprise a measurement antenna and the vectorial measurement receiver. Accordingly, during the measurements, the at least one vectorial measurement receiver is moved around together with the measurement antenna, wherein the spatial relationship between the measurement antenna and the vectorial measurement receiver is remained constant during the movement.

Test arrangement and test method

A measuring device for measuring a power of a measurement signal comprises an analog-processing unit () and a calibration unit () for the implementation of a calibration procedure. The analog-processing unit () provides two detector diodes () connected in an antiparallel manner relative to a signal input () and an amplifier () for the amplification of signals which are derived from output signals of the detector diodes (). The analog-processing unit () further provides a chopper unit () which is connected at two terminals in series between the detector diodes () and the amplifier (). In this context, the calibration unit () comprises at least one current source, wherein the current sources () is connected to at least one input terminal of the amplifier ().

A frequency-converting sensor is provided for generating at least a radio frequency signal parameter, such as an electrical power value. The sensor comprises an analog receiving section configured to convert an input signal into corresponding I/Q components using a local oscillator frequency, an analog to digital converting unit configured to convert the corresponding analog I/Q values into digital I/Q values, and a digital processing unit. The digital processing unit comprises an adjustable filtering unit configured to select a sideband of the digital I/Q values, and a calculating unit configured to calculate the radio frequency signal parameter from the I/Q-values of the selected sideband. A system is further provided for analyzing radio frequency input signal parameters, wherein the system incorporates a device under test, which generates the radio frequency signal, the sensor and a display device.

A power-measurement device includes a power detector and a tempering device. The power detector is integrated on a monolithic chip as an integrated circuit. It converts a high-frequency test signal into a signal which displays the power of the high-frequency test signal. The power-measurement device further includes a signal input. In this context, the tempering device is arranged outside the monolithic chip on a side of the monolithic chip facing away from the integrated circuit. The signal input is connected to the power detector by a first line on a synthetic substrate. The signal input guides the high-frequency test signal to the power detector by the first line.

A power detector for measuring the average power, without constant voltage, of modulated or unmodulated high frequency or microwave signals is described. The power detector includes a signal line connected to a high frequency input. A detection line is capacitively and/or inductively coupled to the signal line and, seen in the longitudinal direction, is connected to the signal line. The signal is tapped from the detection line at two or more detection positions which are staggered in the longitudinal direction.
