A control system to locate a motorized entity on a display having an electronic device with a display is provided. The electronic device may include a microphone and an electronic device integrated circuit with a set of entity locating software instructions with a capability to generate and display a sequence of pixels in a location pattern, and to further receive an audio output detection signal from the microphone. The entity may include a speaker and one or more sensors in communication with an entity integrated circuit including a set of entity control software instructions. The one or more sensors may be capable of detecting pixels and to send a pixel detection signal to the entity integrated circuit upon detection thereof.

Interactive application platform for a motorized toy entity and display

An illustrative application control system is provided having an entity and an electronic device with a display. The control system includes software operating instructions to direct movement of the entity and to direct display operation to interact with the entity. The entity may have the capability to move when positioned on the display and to detect pixels and pixel arrangements on the display. The electronic device may include the capability to generate and display the pixels and pixel arrangements in subsequent locations on the display to trigger entity responses. The software operating instructions may include content such as audio output and/or performance instructions to facilitate interaction between the entity and electronic device.

A system is provided having a launch mechanism with an energy generation capability and a capability to launch toy entities such as surface based entities and flying entities. The launch mechanism may include multiple orientations and configurations to facilitate launch sequences for the toy entities. The energy generation capability may include a handle, a trigger and a rack extending from the trigger capable of charging a gear box. The launch mechanism may also include a capability to transfer energy from the gear box to the toy entity. The system may also be used with game play to launch the flying entities and then utilize an upper portion of the launch mechanism to catch the flying entities.

A toy ring is disclosed herein. The toy ring having: a platform; a plurality of posts positioned about the platform, the plurality of posts including at least one launching post configured for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein movement from the first position to the second position is in a first direction away from the platform; an elastic member secured to each one of the plurality of posts, wherein the biasing member provides a biasing force to the launching post in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the launching post is in the second position.

The toy ring having: a platform; a plurality of posts positioned about the platform, a first one of the plurality of posts being pivotally mounted to the platform at a first end and configured for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein a second end of the first one of the plurality of posts, opposite the first end, moves in a first direction away from the platform when the first one of the plurality of posts is moved from the first position to the second position; an elastic member secured to each one of the plurality of posts, wherein the elastic member provides a biasing force to the first one of the plurality of posts in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the launching post is in the second position; and a moveable platform pivotally secured to the platform, wherein the moveable platform moves from a first position to a second position as the first one of the plurality of posts is moved from its first position towards its second position.
