The present disclosure relates to shipping and storage containers. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to shipping and storage containers, which are traditionally stationary, converted to easily-portable containers. More specifically, the portable containers include a deployable/retractable landing/moving apparatus, a removable tow bar assembly, and leveling support systems. The portable containers can have many uses including as temporary to permanent housing, office space, and school rooms, or to house equipment for use in mobile telecommunication networks and systems, including cellular towers that can be set-up in both permanent and temporary locations.

Deployable containers, systems and methods for deploying containers

A hole covering device attached to the sidewall panels or screens in an auto rack car to prevent the direct passage of air and air-carried contaminants into the auto rack car through the multiplicity of holes in the screens to prevent damage to the finishes of newly manufactured vehicles being transported. The hole covering device includes a non-opaque plastic covering panel which is sized and adapted to be mounted on the interior surface of the screen by a plurality of button fasteners to cover a significant number of the holes in the screen. The covering panel permits light into the car through the covering panel and does not significantly inhibit the ventilation of the vehicle exhaust gases during loading and unloading of the vehicles.

A safety control grip brake for wheelchairs comprised of an internal steel sleeve adapted for rotatable coupling with an existing handle of a wheelchair. A steel spring coil is coupled with the internal steel sleeve. The steel spring coil applies a clockwise/counter clockwise tension on the internal steel sleeve. An outer hand grip is adapted for securement over the internal steel sleeve. The first end of the outer hand grip couples with the second end of the steel spring coil, and the second end of the outer hand grip is connected to a flanged pulley. The center bearing of the flanged pulley is secured to the internal steel sleeve. A steel cable is secured to the flanged pulley and extends down a frame of the wheelchair and is secured thereto by brackets. A brake mechanism is secured to the steel cable and couples with a wheel of the wheelchair to limit or stop the rotation of the wheel.

Safety control grip brake for wheelchairs

A gap sealer for covering the gaps between horizontally extending and vertically spaced apart sidewall panels on auto rack railroad cars and between sidewall panels and the floor, roof or vertical posts. The gap sealer is a single piece of extruded plastic having a head attachable to a flange of a sidewall panel and a tail or flap biasing against the flange of a vertically adjacent sidewall panel, the floor, roof or post, such that the body of the gap sealer covers the gap to prevent air passage. The gap sealer may also include a bumper which protects vehicle doors from contacting the sidewall panels and risking damage. An individual bumper may also be used to protect vehicle doors, and be attached to a sidewall panel by a unique fastener.

A door finger guide for doors an auto rack cars to guide the upper ends of the doors along an upper track during opening and closing operations. The door finger guide includes a metal supporting member or base plate having a lower end secured to the door and an upper end in alignment with the upper door track. Plastic bearing means is secured to the upper ends of the door guides which are mounted in opposing relation for coaction with the track. The door guides and plastic bearing portions are diminished so that the tolerance with the track is minimized to reduce vibration in the door and all components associated with the door and located below the guides.

A slide bearing for attachment to U-section formed sheet metal type guide lugs of unit brake beams for mounting the unit brake beams equipped with such guide lugs in the railroad car truck side frame unit brake beam guide brackets, preferably in place of the conventional spring steel wear plate now generally in use comprising a one piece box like body, preferably formed from a polymeric material, such as UHMW polyethylene, of dry self lubricating characteristics that is rectilinear and planar in outline and of U-shaped transverse cross-sectional configuration defining a web portion and spaced apart side walls shaped and proportioned for substantially complemental but slidable seating in the side frame guide bracket in which the guide lug is to be mounted, with the side walls being closed at their end edges by integral end walls and with the inner surfacing of the side walls and the bearing body being formed to closely receive the brake beam guide lug, and with the respective body side walls each recessing in opposed relation a truncated washer. The washers have their center portions welded to the guide lug side walls to secure the bearing to the guide lug, and when the brake beam is mounted in its operating position in the side frame guide brackets adapted to hold same, the guide lug bearings dispose the brake beam guide lugs to which they are applied in substantially coplanar alignment with the desired brake beam movement radially of the axle wheel to be braked, on actuation of the brakes.

A snap-on slide bearing for application to U-section formed sheet metal type guide lugs of unit brake beams for mounting the unit brake beams equipped with such guide lugs in the railroad car truck side frame unit brake beam guide brackets, preferably in place of the conventional spring steel wear plate now generally in use, comprising a one piece U-shaped clip member formed from spring steel and defining spaced apart superposed congruently related parallel arms integrally joined at like ends by abridging web, with the arms at their other ends being angled toward each other to define for each such arm a locating stop spaced from the clip member web approximately the length of the the guide lugs, and with the clip member arms each having affixed to the outer surfacing of same a strip that is preferably formed from a polymeric material, such as UHMW polyethylene, which strip is rectilinear and planar in outline, which strips are shaped and proportioned for substantially complemental but slidable seating in the side frame guide bracket in which the guide lug is to be mounted, when the slide bearing is mounted on the guide lug. The slide bearing for each guide lug snap fits thereon from the leading edging of same and extends across the lug to dispose the clip member stops against the guide lug trailing edging.

A two-piece breast shield to be worn by a nursing woman is disclosed. A base, contoured to confront the wearer's breast, has an aperture through which the nipple can pass. A dome-shaped cover overlies the base, fitting onto it to define an interior milk-receiving chamber. A small vent hole near the edge of the cover is surrounded by an inwardly extending tube to prevent milk from flowing out through the hole when the woman wearing the breast shield bends over.
