Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a tubing construction with at least one layer formed from a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV). The tubing construction is suitable for use in pump applications subjected to cyclic loading and unloading. The tubing construction maintains a flowrate stability of +/−10% for an extended period of time to provide consistent fluid dispensing and/or dosing for an extended life of the tubing construction and/or the fluid pump.

Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a multilayer tubing construction with an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer or third layer formed from a material comprising a non-phthalate plasticizer, such as TOTM, DOA, DOTP, or combinations thereof. A composite tube includes a first layer including a thermoplastic polymer having a Tg of not greater than about 160&#xb0; C. and a second layer adjacent to the first layer, the second layer including an extruded silicone material. This disclosure relates to polymerizable silicone compositions, methods for polymerizing such compositions, and to polymerized silicone compositions formed thereby. In one embodiment, a polymerizable composition includes one or more first organosiloxanes or organosilanes, each comprising a plurality of silicon hydride functional groups, one or more second organosiloxanes or organosilanes, each comprising a plurality of reactive heterocycloalkyl functional groups; and one or more third organosiloxanes or organosilanes, each comprising at least about one silicon hydride functional group and at least about one reactive heterocycloalkyl functional group; and an effective amount of a borane catalyst, present, for example, in an amount within the range of 0.0005 wt % to about 10 wt %, wherein the ratio of reactive heterocycloalkyl functional groups to reactive silicon hydride functional groups in the composition is in the range of 1:5 to 5:1. The compositions and methods are useful, for example, in adhesive and sealing applications.
