Radio frequency and acoustic mitigating ceiling tile system

A radio frequency (RF) and acoustic shielded door that has a door leaf with an acoustically insulated core. The perimeter of the door leaf is banded with a conductive contact channel, which is electro-mechanically bonded to a shielding media that is applied to the door face. A conductive angled contact is mechanically attached at a bottom of the door. An acoustic or radio frequency gasket seal assembly is attached to the door frame, and the gasket seal assembly is adjustable so that a complete seal can be formed around the head, jamb and sill of the door.

Radio frequency and acoustic shielding door

An improved radiation resistant door seal which is comprised of a door member and frame member. The door member comprises a plurality of flange members and a conductive blade which extends lengthwise and is insertable within a channel formed within the frame member. The channel within the frame member further comprises side walls with bowed contact members on each side of the walls to engagingly capture the blade when inserted therein. A plurality of finger-like contact members is positioned within the door member such to provide enhanced shielding and electrical contact areas to thwart radiation penetration.

Radiation resistant door seal

An enclosure to be electromagnetically shielded includes first and second conductive joints, the first conductive joint comprising a channel including a pair of side walls and a back wall whereby to define a truncated wedge-shaped cross-section including an interior shoulder facing an enlarged chamber adjacent the back wall, a deformable body of polymer enclosed in a conductive mesh and abutting the back wall, and a nonplanar contact member engaging the mesh body, the back wall and each respective side wall at three points. The second conductive joint includes a flange plate to overlap the first joint and a blade to engage the contact members and the mesh body whereby to provide radiation shielding. A metallic gasket recessed in the flange is compressed between the conductive joints to resist passage of radiation, dust or moisture.
