The present invention provides devices and methods that can prevent or ameliorate bronchoconstriction by stimulating neural activity, in contrast to those techniques based on denervation, ablation or blocking of neural activity. Methods and devices according to the invention may act responsively or on demand, can preserve neuronal structure and function and will be associated with minimal collateral side-effects. In particular, the invention provides devices and methods in which a signal is delivered to the vagus nerve, for example the cervical vagus nerve or the pulmonary branch of the vagus nerve, in order to stimulate neural activity in the vagal nerve.

Neuromodulation device

The invention provides devices and methods that can prevent or ameliorate bronchoconstriction. In particular, the invention provides devices and methods in which a signal is delivered to the vagus nerve or the pulmonary branches of the vagus nerves. The signal is able to treat bronchoconstriction and prevent and/or ameliorate bronchoconstriction.

A cup holder assembly having an upper user engaging section and a joined lower cup holder section which is offset both horizontally and vertically from the upper section to rest against the chest of the user's body. The upper section has a convex bowed out shape configured to engage the user's upper chest and provide for the offset to the lower joined cup holding section to engage the user's lower chest. Upper section spaced end holes permit the attachment of a through strap for the user to vertically support the holder. The lower holder section has a flat lower outwardly extending container support platform and a separated upper encircling container support ring both of which are joined to a vertical concave back support member which engages the cup.

Third hand--a cup holder

A semaphore type loading dock safety barrier for use across a vehicle passageway to prevent accidentally driving a vehicle off the end of the loading dock. A barrier mount is attached to a guidepost inside the loading dock doorway and is horizontally rotatable about a vertical axis. A rigid barrier arm is rotatably affixed to the barrier mount so that the barrier arm raises and lowers vertically in a semaphore arm fashion. The barrier arm is typically constructed from an I-beam or box beam and is of sufficient strength to resist vehicle impact. A receiving rest is attached to an opposite guidepost inside the loading dock doorway and is horizontally rotatable about a vertical axis and positioned to receive the free end of the barrier arm. The receiving rest has locking means on the receiving rest to lock the free end of the barrier arm in the receiving rest so that upon vehicle impact with the barrier arm deformation of the barrier arm and rotation of the barrier mount and receiving rest about their respective vertical rotation axes occurs while retaining the barrier arm in a locked relationship with the receiving rest.
