A second divider has a second edge, wherein a second distance is defined between the second edge and the front wall. A locking actuator includes an actuator housing, an extension element, and a lock assembly. The extension element is configured to translate along an actuator axis to transition between a retracted state and an extended state. The lock assembly transitions between a locked state and an unlocked state independent of transitioning the extension element between the retracted and extended states. In examples, a thrust reverser actuation system includes an actuator assembly with the locking actuator and a hydraulic control assembly. In examples, an engine includes a thrust generator, a nacelle, a transcowl, and the thrust reverser actuation system. In examples, a method of operating a thrust reverser actuation system includes transitioning a lock assembly from a locked state to an unlocked state and transitioning an extension element from a retracted state to an extended state.

A galley for an aircraft includes a frame having metal structural members having interior surfaces and panels coupled to and supported by the frame. Each panel has a core and a facesheet having an inner surface. The frame and the panels define a cart compartment configured to receive a galley cart. The interior surfaces of the metal structural members are interior of the inner surface of the corresponding facesheet. The galley includes a cooling system having a supply duct and a return duct along one or more of the panels in flow communication with the cart compartment configured to supply cooled airflow from a heat exchanger. The galley includes insulating panels located in the cart compartment covering the interior surfaces of the corresponding metal structural members.

A screw actuator, includes: a screw comprising a first helical contact surface and a first helical raceway surface; a nut comprising a second helical contact surface and a second helical raceway surface; and a plurality of ball bearings in a helical raceway formed by the first helical raceway surface and the second helical raceway surface. When the screw is loaded relative to the nut in a first axial direction, the first helical contact surface is compressed against the second helical contact surface. When the screw is loaded relative to the nut in a second axial direction, the plurality of ball bearings are compressed between the first helical raceway surface and the second helical raceway surface.

A system and method for monitoring a passenger requiring assistance during travel, such as an unaccompanied minor, a disabled passenger, or an elderly passenger, on a common carrier. The system includes a machine-readable tag such as a Quick Response code (QR code) or a RFID tag that references passenger information, including itinerary information. A first mobile device of a first agent decodes the QR code to present the unaccompanied minor information. A second mobile device of a second agent decodes the QR code to present the unaccompanied minor information. In one embodiment, the QR code includes a uniform resource locator (URL) for accessing the passenger information and the first and second agents can authorize and accept the transfer of the unaccompanied minor by interfacing with a user interface.

A light projection device includes a mixing tube having an open exit end, and a plurality of light sources, each of the plurality of light sources positioned to emit a light stream toward the open exit end of the mixing tube. A diffuser is disposed between the plurality of light sources and the open exit end of the mixing tube, the diffuser configured to diffuse at least one light stream from the plurality of light sources into a diffused light stream. There is provided an actuation system for a gas turbine engine including a thrust reverser and a variable area fan nozzle. The system has a plurality of linear actuators each having a first outer piston concentric with a second inner piston. The first outer piston is operatively connected to a thrust reverser. The second inner piston is operatively connected to a variable area fan nozzle. The system further has a piston lock assembly for selectively locking the first outer piston to the second inner piston. The system further has a control system coupled to the plurality of linear actuators for operating the variable area fan nozzle between a stowed position and a deployed position.
