A pesticidal coating composition is provided which comprises an aqueous dispersion of at least one film-forming binder and at least one microencapsulated pesticide; wherein a coating prepared from such composition is substantially water-impermeable upon curing. The present invention further provides methods of coating substrates with the pesticidal coating composition, as well as substrates coated with the composition. The pesticidal coating compositions of the invention can be applied to substrates by professionals or non-professionals by spraying, painting, rolling, or brushing, before, during, or after construction.

Aqueous coating compositions

A storage-stable aqueous agrochemical concentrate formulation comprises a) an agrochemical electrolyte such as glyphosate b) a water-insoluble agrochemical system such as diuron c) an alkylglycoside and d) a co-surfactant which interacts with the alkylglycoside to form a structured aqueous system. Examples of the co-surfactant include: i) a linear or branched chain aliphatic or aromatic alcohol or ii) an alcohol alkoxylate or ester alkoxylate or alkyl phenol alkoxylate iii) a glyceryl alkyl or alkenyl ester and iv) a sorbitan alkyl or alkenyl ester. The composition optionally contains an additional ionic surfactant.

Agrochemical formulation

An aqueous agrochemical composition comprises an agrochemical active ingredient such as glyphosate, paraquat or fomesafen and an adjuvant of formula (I): X&mdash;(R O) &mdash;R &mdash;NR R and salts thereof, wherein R and R are independently hydrogen or a lower alkyl group or a group X&mdash;(R O) &mdash;R &mdash; wherein X is &mdash;OH or a lower alkoxy group; R O is an ethoxy, propoxy or butoxy group or a random or block mixture thereof; R is a linear or branched chain alkylene bridging group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; X is (IA)&mdash;OH or a lower alkyloxy group; or (IB) a group R R N&mdash; or R R N&mdash;R &mdash;; or (IC) a group (I) wherein a, is from 1 to 400 or if X is of formula IC, the sum of a, b and c is from 3 to 400 and d is 0 or 1.

Agrochemical composition

A storage-stable high-strength aqueous glyphosate concentrate, preferably containing greater than 400 g/l glyphosate expressed as acid, comprises the potassium salt of glyphosate, an alkylglycoside surfactant and an alkoxylated alkylamine surfactant at a preferred total concentration of alkylglycoside and alkoxylated alkylamine from about 160 to 300 g/l and at a preferred ratio of alkylglycoside to alkoxylated alkylamine of from about 1 part by weight of alkylglycoside per 1 part by weight of alkoxylated alkyl amine to about 5 parts by weight of alkylglycoside per 1 part by weight of alkoxylated alkylamine.

Glyphosate formulation

A process and apparatus for producing a moulded soft confectionery item. The soft confectionary item is relatively soft at room temperature and therefore difficult to handle mechanically at room temperature. The confectionery item can be selected from the group consisting of at least one of caramels, fudges, fondant creams, toffees, and jellies, the confectionery item further based on at least one of starch, gelatine, pectin, agar-agar, gum Arabic, and soft fondant creams. The process and apparatus includes a method and apparatus for depositing a liquid form of the confectionery item into a mold, by the use of gravity, subjecting the mold, together with the liquid confectionery item deposited, to a low temperature environment between 0&deg; C. and &minus;196&deg; C. so as to solidify at least the exterior of the deposited confectionery material, and demolding the resulting solidified item of confectionery. The low temperature environment can be facilitated by a cryogenic material that can be in liquid or spray form.

Process of, and apparatus for, moulding confectionery

An aqueous agrochemical concentrate formulation comprises a) an agrochemical electrolyte such as salts of glyphosate, fomesafen, glufosinate, paraquat or bentazone, b) an alkoxylated adjuvant, c) an alkylglycoside and d) a co-surfactant which interacts with the alkylglycoside to form a structured aqueous system. Preferred co-surfactants are:- (i) a linear or branched chain aliphatic or aromatic alcohol, (ii) an alcohol or ester or alkyl phenol alkoxylate having a degree of alkoxylation lower than that of the alkoxylated adjuvant present in the formulation as component (b), (iii) a glyceryl alkyl or alkenyl ester and (iv) a sorbitan alkyl or alkenyl ester. The alkyl glycoside and the co-surfactant interact to provide a structured aqueous system such that if the critical concentrations are exceeded and one or more components (normally the alkoxylated adjuvant) can no longer be maintained in a single-phase aqueous system, the second phase forms a stable dispersion (normally a liquid phase dispersion) which is supported within the structured aqueous system.
