Lighting fixture control systems and method are described including a control station configured to communicate with a plurality of remotely located fixture control devices that are associated with lighting fixtures. Individual fixture control devices may be configured to perform automatic activation operations, that include the fixture control device determining one or more of an identifier of the node, a GPS coordinate of the node, an operating Voltage of the node, a lamp Wattage of the lighting device, a lamp type of the lighting fixture, and a dimming capability of the lighting fixture. The fixture control device may be configured to send results of the automatic activation operation to the control station. The control station may be configured to store a file associated with the node, including the received results of the automatic activation operation.

Aspects provide photo-control receptacles having contact terminals via which control signals can be communicated. In one aspect, a photo-control receptacle is provided. The photo-control receptacle includes an interface having a neutral conductor and a line voltage conductor. Each of the neutral conductor and the line voltage conductor can form a first electrical connection for providing power to a photo-control via alternating current. The photo-control receptacle also includes one or more additional contact conductors adjacent to the interface. The one or more additional contact conductors can form a second electrical connection for providing control signals to the photo-control.

The network server may receive messages or information from one or more of the plurality of networked intelligent luminaire managers or RF devices. The network server may also leverage knowledge of respective statuses of at least a portion of the plurality of the networked intelligent luminaire managers or RF devices to determine a system-level status.

System and method for streetlight monitoring diagnostics

One or more example diagnostics may be implemented as part of an intelligent luminaire manager or other radio frequency (RF) device that is in communication with an equipment or fixture such as a luminaire. Example diagnostics can determine a status such as a fixture malfunction, a cycling condition, a miswiring configuration, or another condition. The determined status can be wirelessly transmitted from the intelligent luminaire manager or other radio frequency device to a network server via a network. The network may be a network of intelligent luminaire managers and/or RF devices.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses may be provided for stray voltage detection. The systems, methods and apparatuses may include providing a first antenna at a first location relative to a monitored equipment or structure, where the first antenna may be operative to detect a first electric field strength at the first location, providing a second antenna at a second location relative to the monitored equipment or structure, where the second antenna may be operative to detect a second electric field strength at the second location, and detecting a stray voltage based at least in part upon the detected first electric field strength and the second electric field strength.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for stray voltage detection

LED module assemblies and luminaires that reduce thermal issues associated with LED lamp energy dissipation are disclosed. In one embodiment, an optimized conduction path from the LED to the exterior of the luminaire is created through the use of heat pipes integrated into the LED module assembly and luminaire. In this embodiment, a significant reduction in thermal transfer to the interior of the enclosure may be implemented, while allowing maximum energy dissipation from the LEDs.

Systems and methods for thermal management of lamps and luminaires using LED sources

The invention relates to a thermal management system for a lamp. The system comprises a lamp socket that comprises a socket body. The thermal assembly is in thermal communication with the socket body to form a thermal circuit between the lamp and the thermal assembly for dissipating heat generated by the lamp.
