A device that includes a body, a wire locking feature, and a channel. The body has an opening through which a wire is configured to extend. The channel is defined by an upper wire guiding portion and a lower wire guiding portion. The channel is configured to guide the wire between the opening and the wire locking feature. The upper wire guiding portion includes a protrusion. The wire is configured to slip past the protrusion during insertion of the wire into the channel.

A medical device is provided. The device includes a body that includes an opening through which a wire is configured to extend. The body further includes an edge and a skirt having only three surfaces surrounding the opening and extending further downwardly in a direction away from the opening than the edge.

A device that includes a body having an opening through which a wire is configured to extend; a channel defined by an upper wire guiding portion and a lower wire guiding portion; and a wire locking feature configured to immobilize a section of the wire. A surgeon's tool for operating a basket device to capture and remove an object may include a controller including a piston and cylinder mechanism for selectively and securely controlling and operating a wire and a sheath of the basket device wherein the piston and the cylinder of the piston and cylinder mechanism may each be independently operated to separately actuate the basket device. The piston and cylinder controller mechanism may include a double piston and cylinder design including first and second biasing mechanisms for biasing the basket device toward a closed position and a latch mechanism for selectively securing the positions of the cylinders.

A tissue graft suspension device includes a platform member, a graft connecting element coupled to the platform member such that a portion of the graft connecting element forms a loop for attachment to a tissue graft, and an enclosure member coupled to the loop of the graft connecting element and configured to enclose a biologic material. The enclosure member defines an opening configured to receive the biologic material. The graft connecting element and the enclosure member are configured such that, during use, the tissue graft is coupled to the loop and in contact with the enclosure member.

The present disclosure relates to a device for use during ligament reconstruction surgery. The device includes a handle and a shaft coupled to the handle, the handle including a first channel for housing of an insert, a second channel, a third channel for housing of the shaft, a first window, a second window, and a groove. A method for use during ligament reconstruction surgery is also disclosed.

Device and method for use during ligament reconstruction

A fixation device includes a member defining at least two openings, and a suture tied to the member by passing the suture through the at least two openings in the member to form two suture loops through which ends of the suture pass. The two suture loops are interconnected. A method of securing a tissue graft includes providing the fixation member, attaching the suture to a tissue graft, and adjusting the length of the suture between the fixation member and the tissue graft by pulling the suture.

Tissue graft anchoring

A tissue graft suspension device includes a platform member defining an opening, a suture having a first portion and a second portion, and a fixation member mating with the opening in the platform member. The first portion and the second portion pass through the opening such that a third portion of the suture forms a loop for attachment to a tissue graft. The fixation member includes a retaining mechanism configured to allow the first portion or the second portion to pass through the opening in a manner that decreases a size of the loop and to prevent the first portion or the second portion of the suture from passing through the opening in a manner that increases a size of the loop.

Suspension device to anchor tissue graft

The present disclosure relates to a needle for attaching a fixator to a soft tissue graft. The needle includes a pointed distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end including a suture coupler, the suture coupler including a hook and a pocket formed by the hook, wherein the needle is curved along an entire length of the needle. A fixator for use with the needle and method of fixating a soft tissue graft to a bone is also disclosed.

Tissue fixator

Provided is a system for dynamically stabilizing a spine. In one example, the system includes a first bone anchor coupled to a first polyaxial head and a second bone anchor coupled to a second polyaxial head. An axis passing through a center of each polyaxial head is aligned with a center of rotation. A first member has a first end movably coupled to the first polyaxial head and a second end. A second member has a third end coupled to the second polyaxial head and a fourth end moveably coupled to the second end. The first and second members are configured to maintain the alignment of the axes with the center of rotation during three dimensional movement of the first member relative to the second member.

Dynamic motion spinal stabilization system

A method of securing a tissue graft within a bone passage includes providing a graft fixation member comprising a closed double-loop having a pair of differently sized loop sections and capturing both sections of the closed-loop within the fixation member. The longer loop section is passed through an opening in the tissue graft then is passed through the smaller loop and thrown over the fixation member to form a knot.
