These techniques may include receiving first device information from a network device of a network, the first device information including configuration information or state information in a vendor specific format and parsing, via a template associated with the vendor specific format, the first device information to generate parsed device information. In addition, the techniques may include generating, based on a vendor-agnostic model and the parsed device information, second device information in a vendor-agnostic format, and generating a network representation including the second device information. Further, the techniques may include dynamically generating an application programming interface (API) for accessing the network representation of the second device information via an API request.

Method and system for collection of vendor-agnostic state and configuration information from network devices

Described herein are techniques for adding adaptive annotations to an electronic content item. For example, a user may insert an annotation by hand drawing the annotation over the content of the content item, in white space around the content, or within an annotation window. The user may also anchor, associate, or link annotations to particular portion of the content item, such that when the content is displayed or rendered on a display of an electronic device, the annotation appears in-line with the content and adjacent to the associated portion.

Adaptive annotations

Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for integrating a customer relationship management application with a mail merge operation on a client-side word processor. Mail merge settings are received from a user, including a record set to use in a mail merge operation. A new mail merge document is created. The record set is added to the mail merge document. A link is added to a template that will control the mail merge operation on a client-side word processor. The linked template gets attached to the new mail merge document when opened on the client-side word processor. Techniques for beginning a mail merge operation on a client-side word processor are described. A downloaded mail merge document is validated. The record set contained in the downloaded mail merge document is separated into one or more separate files. A mail merge wizard is started and advanced to a proper stage.
