An optical fiber cable management panel includes drawer assemblies, each including a drawer slidable within a chassis. The drawer assemblies are secured together by a bracket that includes an interlock arrangement with the chassis. Such an interlock arrangement includes a non-threaded stud engaging a hole. Radius limiters may be part of the drawer assembly and include a cable entry aperture have a closed perimeter and a flared cable guide surface around most of, and preferably all of, the closed perimeter to allow for the entry of cables from all directions. A control mechanism controls movement of the radius limiter relative to the drawer assembly. The control mechanism includes a rotating member that has an axis of rotation transverse to the slidable motion of the radius limiter and normal to the radius limiter.

Cable management panel with sliding drawer and methods

An optical fiber cable management panel includes drawer assemblies, each including a drawer slidable within a chassis. Each drawer assembly defines a storage interior and a first cable access entry to permit optical fiber cables to enter into the storage interior. A cable radius limiter is slidably mounted relative to the drawer assembly, the cable radius limiter defining a curved cable trough. A control mechanism controls movement of the radius limiter relative to the drawer assembly. The control mechanism includes a rotating member that has an axis of rotation transverse to the slidable motion of the radius limiter and normal to the radius limiter.

Embodiments of the invention provide capture ducts, which are configured to be under negative pressure, the capture ducts draw-in heated chamber air that would otherwise flow through the gaps. Embodiments of the invention provide supply ducts, which are configured to be under positive pressure and provide heated air near the gaps. Embodiments of the invention provide louvers positioned near the gaps, the louvers are configured to reduce the flow of heated chamber air that would otherwise pass through the gaps.

An optical fiber cable management panel includes at least one slideable drawer and structure within the drawer for cable management and/or connection to other devices. At least two tray inserts drop into the drawers to provide the appropriate management and connection devices. Each of the drop-in plates includes fastener structure to accommodate removable securement of the drop-in plates to the drawer. The drop-in plates accommodate selected fiber management components thereon. The fiber management components can include radius limiters, adapters, or LEDs. A method of providing fiber management components in a cable management panel includes operably mounting at least two drop-in trays in a drawer, each of the drop-in trays including a fiber management component.

An improved centrifugal fan wheel adapted to receive a flow medium for radially accelerated discharge by plurality radially extending impeller blades. A plurality of flow medium passage channels are positioned radially inwardly of an outer extent of the fan wheel to improve the efficiency of the fan. The flow medium passage channels are defined by alternating cutouts disposed between adjacent blades about the outer extent of a fan wheel back plate.
