A mini-blind cutter for selective manual in-store sizing of a first mini-blind product and a second mini-blind product. Each of the mini-blind products include a head rail, a plurality of slats, and a bottom rail having a different geometry and or material composition. A die assembly is movable from a first position to a second position includes a first and second region to receive the first and second mini-blind products. A blade carrier assembly includes at least two blade carriers and permits permit independent translation of the blade carriers to accommodate the different sized mini-blind products.

Dual mini-blind cutter

The present invention provides a paint supply and finishing system including a paint roller and a tray. The paint roller includes a handle, a shaft extending from the handle along an access, a paint applying medium having a circumferential surface with a plurality of portion extending and rotatably disposed about the axis and an axial face coupled to the paint applying medium. The paint applying medium applies paint to a surface as a medium is rolled against the surface. The axial face includes at least one location memory indicia. Each indicia corresponds to a particular location on the circumferential surface of the medium. As a result, at least on indicia indicates which of the plurality of portions were last in contact with the surface. The tray includes a pan having a well at a first end and a ramp extending from the well to a second end, first and second spaced legs and a bar. The first and second spaced legs are coupled to the second end of the pan and are configured to support the second end of the pan on a horizontal surface. The bar extends between the first and second legs and includes a detent configured to receive a peg. As a result, the tray may be hung from the peg, providing better visual merchandising of tray sets (trays with lids, holding multiple components) and eliminating significant costs associated with unique wire or plastic tray rack fixtures.

Paint supply and finishing system

A curtain tab carrier assembly includes a rod having a pair of vertical flanges that form a channel therebetween. A guide is configured to slidably engage the pair of flanges along the channel. A carrier is secured to the guide and includes a base having a catch formed therein. A loop extends from the base over the rod. The curtain tab is positioned over the loop and is retained by a fabric retaining clip. The clip is hinged to the base and includes a locking tab formed therein. The locking tab engages the catch when the clip is in a closed position.

A mini-blind cutter for selective manual in-store sizing of a first mini-blind product having a vinyl headrail and bottom rail and a second mini-blind product having a steel headrail and bottom rail. The mini-blind cutter includes a die assembly movable from a first position to a second position having a first and second region to receive the first and second mini-blind products. The handle operation preferably rotates in a horizontal plane, the die assembly is adapted to cut different shape product in its two positions and the cutter sequences movement of the die assembly to reduce the force required to cut several components of a mini-blind in a sizing operation.

A method for sizing a horizontal mini-blind using a retaining clip. The retaining clip frictionally engages a lift cord threaded through a series of slots formed within a series of horizontal slats. The mini-blinds are sized attaching the retaining clip to the lift cord, cutting the lift cords underneath the retaining clip below the rung cords, then sliding the retaining clip into a channel formed in a bottom rail. The bottom rail includes a pair of oppositely facing notches which receive the ladder cords to prevent further movement of the clip in the channel. The ladder cords and the lift cord are not knotted and captured using a plug in the bottom rail, which results in a flush relationship between the bottom rail and a window opening.
