Systems and methods for mounting and using various different accessories on a robotic system such as a unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). A tool library may include interchangeable modules, each module having a number of tool holders. Electronic components may be mounted to each of the modules adjacent to each of the of tool holders that identify the module and tool that is associated with the tool holder. The UGV may have a reader that is capable of reading the electronic components to determine the module and tools that are available for use on the UGV.

Robotic tool interchange system

An intrusion detection switch is attached directly to a printed circuit board and utilized within an enclosure. Wires are not used to extend the switch to the top of the enclosure. An extension mechanism is used to extend a triggering portion of the intrusion detection switch to an engaging surface at the top of the enclosure. When the enclosure lid is properly shut, the engaging service is directed downward, thereby pushing an activation switch of the intrusion detection switch down. Switches may be assembled to an internal main printed circuit board where the switch is completely protected. Therefore, routing and maintaining of wiring to a switch is eliminated. A linkage system or mechanism can be mounted to the main chassis of the enclosure and act as an interface to an enclosure top cover. This eliminates potential damage to switches and wires and provides for a more reliable switch.

PCB mounted cover activated intrusion detection switch

A toolless hot-swappable storage module system includes a base plate for mounting within a computer enclosure and a toolless hot-swappable storage module. The storage module includes a sled that is removably coupled to the base plate. The storage module further includes a printed circuit board (PCB) that is disposed on the sled. The PCB includes a plurality of storage media connectors, a PCB signal and power connectors. The storage module also includes a support frame disposed on the PCB. The support frame includes a plurality of support members that are disposed perpendicular to the PCB. Each support member has a first edge and a second edge and includes a plurality of dividers disposed in parallel rows. The support frame also includes a sidewall that is disposed across the first edge of the support members.
