The computer implemented asset management system comprises an asset data store containing information about assets that is updated at intervals. The computer implemented asset management system also comprises a personnel data store containing information about individuals and an analysis component operable to identify an association of individuals with each of the assets.

Application management database with personnel assignment and automated configuration

A system and computer implemented method for identifying active applications in an enterprise computing system is provided. The method includes defining a plurality of fingerprints for an application. A first fingerprint is related to a directory structure associated with the application. A second fingerprint is related to checking memory of at least some of the enterprise computing systems for data related to the application. The method includes searching the enterprise computing system for at least one fingerprint. The method includes when a fingerprint is found, identifying the application associated with the fingerprint as active.

Integrated fingerprinting in configuration audit and management

A system for end-to-end configuration management is provided. The system includes, a server component, a network component, an application component, a resources component, and a services component each operable to identify servers, communication network hardware, applications, human resources, and services, respectively, of the enterprise. The system further includes a management component operable to identify an end-to-end relationship between at least some of the communication network hardware to at least some of the servers, and from at least some of the servers to at least some of the applications, and from at least some of the applications to at least some of the human resources, and from at least some of the applications to at least some of the services.
