An apparatus for producing a stabilizing base flame for a premix main burner flame in a burner assembly having a burner end, a first fuel line, a first fuel nozzle, a second fuel line, and a second fuel nozzle. The apparatus comprises a conduit having a first fuel line end in fluid communication with the first fuel line, a second fuel line end in fluid communication with the second fuel line, a valve in fluid communication with the conduit and a center fuel stabilization bluff body mounted in the burner end. The center fuel stabilization bluff body comprises a first ring, a second ring and a cylinder disposed between the first ring and the second ring.

Apparatus and method for a center fuel stabilization bluff body

The present invention relates in general to the field of packaged meat product, and more specifically, to a modified atmosphere meat packaging system and method of packaging meat product. The modified atmosphere meat packaging system and method comprises a lid-stock container with a reduced-volume headspace configured to contain a modified atmosphere consisting of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Spices, salts, rubs and seasonings may be further placed on the meat product to add flavor and mask a myoglobin state during long periods of shipping, storage and retail display. An impermeable gaseous barrier is configured to 'gently touch' the meat product to prevent movement inside the meat packaging system and maintain an attractive appearance to consumers. The purpose of the invention is to provide a packaged meat product that appears freshly cut and wrapped straight from the butcher at a local meat market as opposed to a centralized packaging facility.

'Gentle touch' modified atmosphere meat packaging system and method of packaging meat

A mixing tube assembly having an inlet end and an outlet end and being adapted for use in a burner assembly. The mixing tube assembly comprises a substantially cylindrical outer wall which defines an interior open space. The mixing tube assembly also comprises a turbulator that is disposed in the interior open space defined by the substantially cylindrical outer wall and a flow straightening device that is disposed downstream from the turbulator. A method for mixing fuel and air in a burner assembly comprising providing a mixing tube assembly. The preferred method also comprises conveying fuel and air from the inlet end of the mixing tube assembly to the outlet end of the mixing tube assembly and straightening the gaseous fuel and air mixture flow in the mixing tube assembly.

The mixing tube assembly comprises a substantially cylindrical outer wall which defines an interior open space. A method for mixing fuel and air in a burner assembly comprising providing a mixing tube assembly. The preferred method also comprises conveying fuel and air from the inlet end of the mixing tube assembly to the outlet end of the mixing tube assembly.

Apparatus and method for mixing tube assembly

A burner assembly including a housing having an air inlet and a burner end, a motor, and an impeller mounted in the housing. The impeller is in fluid communication with the air inlet, in mechanical communication with the motor, and adapted to direct air from the air inlet towards the burner end of the housing. The burner assembly also includes at least one pre-mix gas injection nozzle mounted in the housing. Each of the at least one pre-mix gas injection nozzle has at least one orifice adapted to direct gaseous fuel into the housing. The burner assembly further includes a spin vane comprising at least one spin vane blade. The spin vane is mounted in the burner end of the housing and adapted to direct the flow of air in the burner end. The burner assembly still further includes a flattening screen located in the housing downstream from the impeller and an igniter mounted in the burner end of the housing. The igniter is adapted to ignite the air and fuel mixture in the burner end of the housing to produce a main flame.

A burner assembly including a housing having an air inlet, a burner end having an opening, a longitudinal axis extending generally from the air inlet toward the burner end, a motor, an impeller mounted in the housing and being in fluid communication with the air inlet, operatively connected to the motor and adapted to direct air from the air inlet toward the burner end, a coal tube adapted to convey coal toward the burner end, a coal inlet adapted to convey coal to the coal tube, a first bluff body ring, a second bluff body ring and a third bluff body ring mounted at the burner end, a flame bridge disposed between the first bluff body ring and the second bluff body ring, and an igniter mounted in the burner end and being adapted to ignite the air and fuel mixture in the burner end to produce a main flame.

Coal burner assembly

A burner assembly including a housing having an air inlet and a burner end, a motor, and an impeller mounted in the housing. The impeller is in fluid communication with the air inlet, in mechanical communication with the motor, and adapted to direct air from the air inlet towards the burner end of the housing. The burner assembly also includes a plurality of gas injection tubes that are disposed substantially parallel to each other. Each of the plurality of gas injection tubes includes a tube inlet end, a tube outlet end and at least one aperture. In addition, the burner assembly includes a first tube sheet disposed near the tube inlet ends of the plurality of gas injection tubes and a second tube sheet disposed near the tube outlet ends of the plurality of gas injection tubes. The burner assembly further includes a spin vane having at least one spin vane blade. The spin vane is mounted in the burner end of the housing and adapted to direct the flow of air in the burner end. The burner assembly still further includes an igniter mounted in the burner end of the housing. The igniter is adapted to ignite the air and fuel mixture in the burner end of the housing to produce a main flame.

Burner assembly with turbulent tube fuel-air mixer

A leather pitching target simulates the sound of a pitched ball hitting a catcher's mitt and forms a visual indentation where the ball strikes the target. An air-filled layer of padding may be sandwiched between a leather target sheet and a durable backing material. A square or rectangular quilted pattern of stitching may bind the layers together. A differently colored block U-shaped pattern of squares forms the inside, outside, and bottom of the strike zone. Each time the ball hits the target, pressure from the impact levels out the previous impression and creates a new one where the new pitch hit the target.

An impeller that is mounted in the housing is in communication with the air inlet and adapted to direct air toward the burner end of the housing. The burner assembly also includes an inner air tube that is mounted in the burner end of the housing so as to define an inner combustion zone and an outer combustion zone. The assembly further includes a plurality of radiation plates that are mounted in the burner end of the housing adjacent to the outer combustion zone, an inner air spin vane that is mounted on the inner air tube so as to direct some of the air from the impeller into the inner combustion zone, an inner gas injection nozzle mounted on the inner air tube so as to direct gaseous fuel into the inner combustion zone, an outer air spin vane that is mounted in the burner end of the housing so as to direct some of the air from the impeller into the outer combustion zone, and a plurality of outer gas injection nozzles that are mounted in the burner end of the housing so as to direct gaseous fuel into the outer combustion zone. A first castellated ring is mounted around the periphery of the inner air tube, and a second castellated ring is mounted around the periphery of the burner end of the housing.
