A new and distinct grapevine variety 'Sugrafortyfive' is characterized by the production of a medium-sized, dark berry with near black skin color and an ellipsoidal, elongated shape. The berries of 'Sugrafortyfive' ripen early and are firm and very juicy. The new variety 'Sugrafortyfive' has a similar harvest time as &#x2018;Summer Royal&#x2019; (unpatented) but the shape of the berry of the new variety &#x2018;Sugrafortyfive&#x2019; is ellipsoidal elongated compared to round for &#x2018;Summer Royal&#x2019;.

A new and distinct grapevine variety is characterized in that it produces a medium sized, broad, green ellipsoid berry with a large bunch size. The berries of 'Sugrafortythree' are firm and very juicy. The new variety 'Sugrafortythree' is characterized by a late ripening period and ripens most similarly to 'Autumn King' (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 16,284). In the Bakersfield, Calif. area the new variety &#x2018;Sugrafortythree&#x2019; has a harvest start date of October 1 compared to September 15for &#x2018;Autumn King&#x2019;.

A new and distinct grapevine variety is characterized in that it produces a large sized, green, oval berry with a large bunch size. The berries of 'Sugrafortytwo' are firm, very juicy, have high sugar content and a fruity flavor. Ripening of the new variety takes place about 1 month earlier than the comparable variety 'Sugrathirtyfive' (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 20,491) but the berry has similar shape and appearance. The new variety has an oval berry shape compared to the elongated shape for the comparable variety Thompson (unpatented), with similar ripening.

Grapevine plant named 'Sugrafortytwo'

A new and distinct grapevine variety characterized by producing uniform, oval, black, berries. The berries have a medium sugar content and a slightly fruity flavor. Harvest of the new variety starts 7-10 days earlier than harvest of the comparable variety 'Summer Royal' (unpatented).

Grapevine plant named 'Sugraforty'

A new and distinct grapevine variety characterized in that it produces a medium sized, green, near-round berry that ripens very early in the season and has a rudimentary seed trace. The berries of 'Sugrafortyone' are firm, slightly juicy, have medium sugar content and a Muscat flavor. Ripening of the new variety takes place about 5 weeks earlier than the comparable variety 'Sugraeighteen' (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 11,820), and the new variety has near-round berry shape compared to oval shape for the comparable variety 'Sugraone' (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 3,106).
