A converter valve allows product dispenser operator to change from a first fluid source to a second fluid source without fluid crossover. The converter valve includes a first port in fluid communication with a dispense point, a second port in fluid communication with a first fluid source having a first fluid, and a third port is in fluid communication with a second fluid source having a second fluid. The converter valve includes a passage between the first and second ports, and a plug in fluid communication with third port. The second and third ports of the converter valve are disposed symmetrically about the first port, and, accordingly, the converter valve is rotatable about the first port. As such, the converter valve delivers the first fluid to the dispense point, and delivers the second fluid through the passage to the dispense point when the converter valve is rotated.

Method and apparatus for converter valve

An improved frozen carbonated beverage dispenser is provided with the beverage product including improved integrity and the apparatus including improved sanitation, product visualization, and low profile features. The dispenser includes a cylindrical auger chamber formed as a sleeve with sealed ends, within which a mixing auger (screw) is contained. The mixing auger is driven rotationally from an external source and acts to mix and transfer (pump) chilled/frozen products, such as beverage products, in the chamber. The mixing auger contains a central conduit or bore through its central axis acting as a return passage for mixed product. Product is dispensed from within the mixing chamber by use of a dispensing lever assembly.

Frozen carbonated beverage dispensing apparatus

An apparatus and method for dispensing a cool beverage which includes a metal cold plate which is cooled by ice in an ice bin of the apparatus. The beverage dispensing conduit extends through the cold plate so as to be cooled thereby, and a cooling conduit also extends through the cold plate so that a cooling medium may be passed through the cooling conduit to supplement the cooling provided by the ice. In a preferred embodiment, the cooling medium utilizes a portion of the chilled glycol of an otherwise conventional refrigerated beer dispensing system.

A coupler for a dispensing apparatus and method of use thereof includes a first member having a first, a second, and a third aperture. A second member is mountable on and rotatable about the first member to selectively communicate the first and second apertures with the third aperture.
