An organic feed method for use as food supplements for humans or animals as well as for feeding plants. The organic feed method generally includes first mixing an organic material such as peat moss or compost with water at a ratio of approximately 1.2 pounds of organic material to 1 gallon of water. The resulting mixture is pumped through a wet mill grinder to reduce size, maintaining a temperature of below 130 degrees Fahrenheit through the mixture and grinding processes. After grinding, the resulting mush is pumped through a 400 mesh filter, cooled to room temperature, and bottled as an organic feed. The organic feed may be utilized as a health or nutritional food supplement for humans or animals. The organic feed may also be mixed with water or chemicals such as fertilizer and applied to plants as plant feed.

Organic feed method

A method for centrally providing a profile of a user's degree of preference for one or more items across categories in a plurality of domains of interest in a taxonomy of preferences is described. In one embodiment, the method includes identifying a user's degree of preference for an item from a plurality of indicators. The user's degree of preference for the item is associated with a category in a domain of interest and is stored in a profile of the user. In another embodiment, the profile identifies preferences of the user in a taxonomy of preferences across categories in a plurality of domains of interest.

The invention comprises a radio controlled tree planter. The planter has four hydraulically controlled tree spades mounted on vehicle, with hydraulic cylinders to position the spades in a storage, position, a vertical digging position, and a actual digging action. A tv size radio transmitter has button controls for transmitting radio signals to a radio receiver mounted on the planter, which receiver in turn transmits signals to solenoids operating the hydraulic cylinders to thereby control the movement of the spades in the three positions of its operation to thereby control the digging operations of the spades within the range of the receiver from a remote location.

A method of identifying different brands of peat moss including the steps of separation of the peat and sand by first adding water to the peat and sand mixture to enable the peat to float to the top of the water and the sand to gravitate to the bottom collecting the peat at the surface of the water and drying the peat there after grinding the peat to pass thru a sieve of small mesh then mixing the ground peat with Potassium Bromide (KBr) at a ratio in the neighborhood of 1:20 then grinding said mixture with a mortar and pestle then loading to a sample cell; then loading a ground pure KBr to a reference cell, then scanning and collecting wave spectrums of the references and samples in the range of 4000 to 600 cm, collect said spectrums directly from said peat/sand mixtures and dry said peat/sand mixtures in the neighborhood of 105 degrees centigrade for a 24 hour period.

Method of identifying peat moss

The invention is directed to a mobile bin device having a mobile bin with a first conveyor extending along the bottom of the bin beneath a bin opening to convey material in the bin to one end of the bin. A second belt conveyor has one end pivotally mounted to the one end of the bin to pivot relative to the bin upward and downward and to one side or the other. The second conveyor is slidably mounted in its pivotal mounting to side longitudinally in the mounting to along the one end of the bin beneath the one end of the first conveyor to shorten or lengthen the distance from the outer end of the first conveyor to the outlet end of the second conveyor at the one end of the bin. Power devices are provided to power the upward and downward movement of the second conveyor and the longitudinal movement of the second conveyor.

Mobile apparatus with plurality of conveyors

The invention comprises a mobile dethatching or ground cutting apparatus having a frame with front and rear wheels and a towing arm mounted to the frame for towing behind a tractor. A rotary drum is rotatably mounted to the frame and a hydraulic motor is mounted to the frame for powering the rotation of the drum. The front wheels are adjustable in height for adjusting the weight of the drum relative to the ground. The drum has a plurality of slots and peripheral rods are mounted about the circumference of the drum with the drum having plurality of slots at intervals about its circumference rod receiving. A plurality of harrow teeth have coil spring portions slidably and detachably mounted to the rods of the drum and a projecting portion detachably received in the slots of the drum so as to project the harrow teeth outward from the drum for engaging the ground as the device is moved forward along the ground with the drum power rotated for the harrow teeth to cut a path in the ground with the drum and teeth adjustable by the front wheels for varying the depth of the teeth or thinning or cutting a strip or path in the ground.

Dethatcher apparatus

The invention is a mobile bin with two conveyors with each mounted on a main frame and with the main frame having wheels for rotatably supporting the vehicle along the ground. The bin has an opening along its bottom and the first belt conveyor is mounted beneath the opening in the bin and its remote ends extend to the opposite ends of the bin. A second elongated belt conveyor pivotally mounted about a vertical axis on the main frame of the bin vehicle from a storage position parallel in length to and beside and below the first belt conveyor to different positions laterally in length to the first belt conveyor with it one end remaining below and now beneath the one end of the first belt conveyor, said second belt conveyor being further pivotable about its one end on said mean frame to raise and lower the other end of the second belt conveyor while its one end remains below and beneath the one end of the first belt conveyor, whereby material may be conveyed from the bin opening by the first conveyor to its one end and then conveyed onto the second conveyor beneath the one end of the first conveyor whereupon it may be conveyed by the second conveyor laterally outward or laterally outward and upward from the one end of the first conveyor.

Conveying, spreading and milling apparatus

The invention comprises a scraper and drag attachment for a tractor. The attachment has a main frame with a hitch at it forward end for attachment to a tractor. A scraper is fixed to the main frame behind the hitch and a first pivotal frame is pivotally mounted to the main frame behind the scraper. A pair of wheel frames each having a wheel rotatably mounted thereon are individually pivotally mounted to the main frame behind the scraper and laterally adjacent one another. A piston and cylinder is pivotally connected between the first frame and one of the wheel frames and a rod has its end pivotaly connected between the other wheel frame and the first frame; and a second piston and cylinder is pivotally connected between the main frame and the first frame, whereby the first piston and cylinder may be actuated to telescope or retract to pivot the one wheel frame and its wheel at an up or down, relative to the second wheel frame and its wheel, to an adjusted angle, and the second piston and cylinder may be actuated to raise or lower the first frame and wheel frames with the wheel frames and wheels remaining at their adjusted angular position relative to one another. A drag is pivotally mounted on a second frame which second frame is pivotally mounted to the main frame and a pair of chains are adjustably connected between the second frame and first frame whereby raising and lowering the first frame will raise and lower the drag with drag at a height relative to the device depending upon, the chain adjustment between the first frame and second frame.

Scraper and drag attachment

The invention comprises a mobile trailer having a frame with a set of wheels on the frame for hauling the trailer and a pair of storage bins on the frame in side by side spaced relation with one bin adapted to a receive peat with a mixing blade to mix the peat and the other bin adapted to receive sand. The bins have openings along their bottoms and connecting openings along their vertical front walls with vertically adjustable plates to vary the sizes of the vertical openings. Horizontal conveyors are mounted beneath the bottom openings to the bins. Collecting and mixing blades are in the front of the trailer and a rotating spreader mounted to the rear upper portion of the trailer. An inclined conveyor is mounted with its lower end beneath the mixing blade and its upper end above the spreader. The trailer has power take off means with a drive connection to a tractor to be connected to power the collecting and mixing blades, the conveyors, and spreader, whereby the bin openings may be opened to selected sizes to allow the materials to gravitate from the bins onto the horizontal conveyors, and the horizontal conveyors may convey the materials to the collecting and mixing blades for collecting and mixing the materials and the inclined conveyor may convey the mixed materials of sand and peat up to the spreader to gravitate onto the spreader to spread the mixed materials on the ground.

Our transfer mechanism is attached to the front of a conventional combine. The transfer mechanism includes a number of longitudinally spaced rows of laterally spaced curved teeth or tines that move rearwardly and upwardly so that the tines of each row successively engage a growing or standing crop, such as pinto beans or field peas, lifting the crop sufficiently so that the cutter bar of the combine effectively severs the crop adjacent the surface of the ground. Continued rearward and upward movement of the tines, while still engaging the severed crop, transfers the crop to a more elevated location adjacent the auger. When the tines reach the auger, the shaft on which those particular tines are mounted is angularly rotated so as to release or dump the severed crop onto a curved floor beneath the auger. The auger moves the cut crop laterally and then rearwardly into the threshing portion of the combine.
