Receptacle electrical terminal assembly

A method of forming an electrical terminal is presented herein. The method includes the step of stamping an electrical terminal preform from a sheet of metal. The electrical terminal preform having a base plate, a plurality of contact arms radially extending from the base plate, a wire attachment feature radially extending from the base plate, and a carrier strip. The base plate defines crimp wings. The method also includes the step of bending each of the plurality of contact arms to form a socket configured to receive a mating electrical terminal.

Method of forming an electrical terminal and an electrical terminal assembly

An electrical terminal is presented herein. The electrical terminal includes a base plate, a plurality of contact arms extending from the base plate around a longitudinal axis, and a wire attachment feature extending from the base plate and defining crimp wings configured to mechanically and electrically attach the electrical terminal to a wire cable. The plurality of contact arms form a socket configured to receive a mating electrical terminal. An electrical connector assembly including the electrical terminal and a method of forming the electrical connector assembly is also presented.

System for trapping flying insects and a method for making the same

A flying insect trapping device configured to be used with a fuel supply containing a combustible fuel is disclosed. The trapping device includes a combustion device that includes an inlet port for receiving the combustible fuel, a turbulence reducing structure for substantially laminating flow of a mixture of the combustible fuel and air, a catalyst element disposed downstream of the turbulence reducing structure, a heat zone having a hollow interior space in between the turbulence reducing structure and the catalyst element to enable the combustible fuel to flow into the heat zone for continuous combustion therein to create an exhaust gas comprising carbon dioxide, and a plurality of heat exchanger fins extending inwardly into the hollow interior space of the heat zone for conducting heat generated by the continuous combustion.

Device for trapping flying insects

A flying insect trapping device configured to be used with a fuel supply containing combustible fuel. The device may include a supporting frame; an insect trap chamber carried on the supporting frame; and a combustion device which may also be carried on the supporting frame. The combustion device comprises an inlet port for connection with the fuel supply, an exhaust port, and a combustion chamber communicating the inlet port with the exhaust port. The inlet port enables the fuel from the fuel supply to flow into the combustion chamber for continuous combustion therein to create an exhaust gas within the combustion chamber. The combustion device further includes a catalyst element disposed within the combustion chamber. The catalyst element has a catalyst body with a plurality of essentially linear elongated conduits for enabling the exhaust gas created in the combustion chamber to flow therethrough towards the exhaust port. The catalyst body includes a catalytically active material that, during operation, converts carbon monoxide in the exhaust gas to carbon dioxide as the exhaust gas flows through the elongated conduits. An insect inlet is communicated with the insect trap chamber to enable flying insects to enter the trap chamber through the insect inlet. A vacuum device communicated to the insect inlet is constructed and arranged to draw insects attracted to the exhaust outlet through the insect inlet and into the insect trap chamber.
