This invention provides an outrigger assembly for fishing that can be quickly deployed from a portable bag about 1 meter long into a fully rigged outrigger in a selected length of 4 meters, 5 meters or 6 meters. Variable length is obtained by adding sections of telescoping pole. Quick deployment is obtained by using detachable line guides that are radially (or side) threadable in conjunction with a separate preassembled outrigger line loop for each deployed length. Different length outrigger line loop assemblies are color coded for quick identification. Stowed length and volume of the collapsed telescoping pole is minimized by the use of outrigger line guides that are removable from the outrigger pole. Threading and unthreading of an outrigger line loop without opening the loop is enabled by the radially threadable line guides. The invention also provides an outrigger holder having two sockets, one for the outrigger and one for a fishing pole.

The invention is a snowmobile ski that is adapted to accommodate wheel units that are movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The floor of the ski has one or more wheel openings, which allow wheels to drop down to the deployed position. A wheel unit may have a single wheel or two wheels in tandem. The wheel units may be mounted on the kingpin, the side wall, inner ribs, or on the steering spindle. A snow guard is provided on the ski body, to prevent snow or ice from hindering operation of the wheel unit.

A method of providing optimal fuse programming conditions by which an integrated circuit chip customer may program electronic fuses in the field, i.e., outside of the manufacturing test environment. An optimal fuse programming identifier, which is correlated to optimal fuse programming conditions, may be provided to the customer in readable fashion on the customer's IC chip. Accessing the optimal fuse programming identifier on the customer's IC chip, the customer may apply a fuse programming process in the field according to one or more correlated optimal fuse programming conditions.

Mounting bracket for mounting a wheel unit or other device on the ski of a snowmobile. A base plate of the mounting bracket attaches to the bottom of the ski with the same fastener that fastens a carbide runner to the bottom of the ski. A mounting section has mounting holes or brackets and extends along the outside of the side wall of the ski. The wheel unit is affixable to the mounting bracket, making it easier to retrofit a wheel unit onto a ski having carbide-runner posts in the bottom of the ski.

When retrofitting skis, the wheel unit is mountable on the kingping, on the side wall, or on the saddle. Wheels are readily deployable or retractable as ground surface conditions require, and allow the snowmobile to be driven over gravel, dirt, and hardtop surfaces, while maintaining steerability with the handlebars.

A support stand for supporting the rear-end of a snowmobile above the ground. The apparatus may be fitted with rollers or wheels in order to improve the maneuverability of the snowmobile when it is being transported across a non-snow or non-ice surface.
