A system, device and method to securely notify a user of a compromise of a device are provided. The system, device and method may include a detection device adapted for determining a compromise of the device communicatively coupled to the first path, a user database including at least information regarding the device and other devices associated with the user, and the secure signal path to at least one of the other devices.

Secure notification on networked devices

According to some aspects, disclosed methods and systems may include receiving a message indicating a loss of connectivity to a network of a distressed device associated with a location. The method may include connecting, via one or more network devices, to the distressed device associated with the location. The method may also include transmitting information between the distressed device and the network.

Providing network connectivity for a service disruption

Method of limiting offending messages communicated over a network, such as but not limited to messages associated with Spam and DoS attacks. The message limiting optionally including limiting bandwidth or other communication capabilities associated with an entity communicating or facilitating communication of the messages.

Process for abuse mitigation

A method, apparatus, and system are disclosed that provide an approved address couplet listing for communication handling. An inbound communication including sender and recipient field entries may be compared as a pair or couplet against the listing to determine whether the inbound communication should be discarded, subjected to additional (spam related) processing, or forwarded for storage or delivery purposes. The comparison may take place in conjunction with one or more hashing functions.
