A transducer assembly comprising: a magnet motor assembly comprising a first magnet plate and a second magnet plate arranged along an axis, a first support plate positioned between inward facing surfaces of the first magnet plate and the second magnet plate, a second support plate positioned along an outward facing surface of the first magnet plate to form a first magnetic gap between the first support plate and the second support plate, and a third support plate positioned along an outward facing surface of the second magnet plate to form a second magnetic gap between the first support plate and the third support plate; a voice coil coupled to the magnet motor assembly, wherein the voice coil is positioned around the first support plate and within the first magnetic gap and the second magnetic gap; and a piston coupled to the voice coil, wherein the piston is operable to vibrate in a direction parallel to the axis.

Dual function transducer

One embodiment described herein provides a system and method for simulating behavior of a quantum circuit that includes a plurality of quantum gates. During operation, the system receives information that represents the quantum circuit and constructs an undirected graph corresponding to the quantum circuit. A respective vertex within the undirected graph corresponds to a distinct variable in a Feynman path integral used for computing amplitude of the quantum circuit, and a respective edge corresponds to one or more quantum gates. The system identifies a vertex within the undirected graph that is coupled to at least two two-qubit quantum gates; simplifies the undirected graph by removing the identified vertex, thereby effectively removing the two-qubit quantum gates coupled to the identified vertex; and evaluates the simplified undirected graph, thereby facilitating simulation of the behavior of the quantum circuit.

Method and system for quantum computing

A transducer assembly including a stiffener plate having a first side and a second side; a voice coil coupled to the second side of the stiffener plate; a magnet assembly positioned along the second side of the stiffener, the magnet assembly operable to produce a magnetic field that causes a movement of the magnet assembly relative to the voice coil; and a spring suspending the magnet assembly from the stiffener plate such that the movement of the magnet assembly drives a movement of the stiffener plate.

An input device, such as a stylus, can include a main body comprising a main body connector for connecting to a charger to charge a power source of the stylus. A separate functional end module is removable from the main body to expose the main body connector. The functional end module includes a functional component and a module connector that communicates with the main body via the main body connector. Various different functional end modules can be interchangeable to provide a variety of distinct features to the stylus.

Multipurpose stylus with exchangeable modules

An acoustic enclosure has a housing at least partially defining an acoustic chamber for an acoustic radiator. The housing defines an acoustic port from the acoustic chamber to a surrounding environment. An acoustic resonator has a first resonant chamber and a second resonant chamber. The acoustic resonator also has a first duct to acoustically couple the first resonant chamber with the acoustic chamber and a second duct to acoustically couple the second resonant chamber with the first resonant chamber. An electronic device can have an electro-acoustic transducer. Circuitry in the electronic device can drive the electro-acoustic transducer to emit sound over a selected frequency bandwidth. Damping provided by the first and the second resonant chambers can de-emphasize one or more frequencies and/or extend a frequency response of the acoustic enclosure to improve perceived sound quality emitted by the electronic device.

A micro-speaker assembly including an enclosure having an enclosure wall separating a surrounding environment from an encased space, wherein the enclosure wall defines an acoustic port from the encased space to the surrounding environment; a sound radiating surface positioned within the encased space and dividing the encased space into a front volume chamber and a back volume chamber, wherein the front volume chamber is acoustically coupled to a first surface of the sound radiating surface and the acoustic port, and the back volume chamber acoustically coupled to a second surface of the sound radiating surface; and a resonator acoustically coupled to the front volume chamber, wherein the resonator comprises a neck acoustically coupled to an acoustic cavity, and an opening to the neck is positioned at a distance from the acoustic port that corresponds to a quarter wavelength resonance of the front volume chamber.
