A vibratory apparatus for attachment to a container adapted to utilized pressurized air from a portable pressure source, which apparatus includes a base and a vacuum generator connectable to a pressure source, wherein the vacuum generator is attached to the base and adapted to create a vacuum between the base and a container. The apparatus further includes a vibrator attached to the base and adapted to vibrate the base and any attached container and a conduit connectable to the vibrator at a first end and a pressure source at a second, opposite end. The conduit has a passage extending therethrough and a flow restrictor is disposed between the pressure source and the vibrator to allow a predetermined, non-adjustable volume of airflow through the conduit into the vibrator in a first direction of flow.

Vibratory apparatus

A vibratory apparatus and method for settling the contents of a container. The vibratory apparatus includes a base and a load table located above the base. A plurality of resiliently flexible vertical support members attach the load table to the base. A pneumatic linear vibrator is attached to the load table and is adapted to the vibrate the load table along a line of stroke that is generally linear and generally horizontal. One or more vacuum cups are attached to the top of the load table to releasably secure the container to the load table for vibration. The vibrator can independently vary the amplitude and the frequency of the vibration of the container to maximize settling of wllthe contents of the container.

Vibratory apparatus for settling the contents of a container

A mounting assembly for mounting a vibrator to the outer surface of a pipe. The mounting assembly includes a mounting base having a top surface adapted to receive the vibrator and a bottom surface including a groove having two opposing inclined side walls that are adapted to be placed in engagement with the outer surface of the pipe. A tensioner having a selectively extendable and retractable end is attached to the top surface of the mounting base. An elongate flexible strap adapted to be wrapped around the pipe includes a first end attached to the moveable end of the tensioner and a second end that is adapted to be selectively attached to the moveable end of the tensioner after the strap is wrapped around the pipe. The moveable end of the tensioner is extended to tension the strap about the pipe and to thereby tightly mount the mounting base to the outer surface of the pipe such that the mounting base transmits vibrations from the vibrator to the pipe to dislodge any material forming a blockage in the pipe.

A mounting arrangement is provided for removably mounting a vibrator to a structure to be vibrated. The mounting arrangement includes a bracket, adapted to be attached to the vibrator, having a front surface and rear surface. A mounting sleeve formed from a resilient cushioning material includes a front face adapted to be associated with the front surface of the bracket and a rear face adapted to be associated with the rear surface of the bracket. The mounting sleeve is adapted to be coupled to the structure to be vibrated such that the mounting sleeve insulates the bracket from direct contact with the structure to reduce noise levels during operation of the vibrator, while the mounting sleeve effectively transmits vibrations from the bracket to the structure to be vibrated.

Vibrator mounting arrangement

A tensioning arrangement is provided to position belt cleaner blades relative to a conveyor belt, which arrangement includes a linkage connection to vary the force which the blades exert against the belt and an over-center camming feature which locks the blade in the cleaning position to prevent disengagement.
