A dynamic fluid flow system for training. The system incorporates transparent piping, transparent pump components, transparent valve components, and other components found in most fluid flow systems which provide visual feedback for training purposes when training personnel on the fluid flow system. The fluid flow system of the present invention includes all elements which would typically be found on a fluid flow system used in industrial facilities such as power plants, and allows full training and certification of personnel on a full interactive dynamic system which produces visual feedback not capable on existing training systems or even on actual systems used in industrial applications. An embodiment of the present invention could be in the form of a portable system which can be transported in a standard trailer or even deployed in a vehicle for remote deployment.

Training system and method for a dynamic fluid flow system

A single use syringe including a mechanical means permitting a single withdrawal of the plunger to load the cylinder an a single advance of the plunger to inject the material, thereafter incapacitating the mechanism. The mechanical means may well be retrofit to existing syringes.

Single use disposable syringe

A presterilized, packaged, subcutaneous contraception kit including a simple, disposable cutter device (1) which makes precise, repeatable less than 5 mm incisions in the skin which is capable of being used by nonskilled personnel. The contraceptive steroid delivery systems are preloaded in a disposable flexible plastic carrier (30) which is used to blunt disect under the skin where the capsules (52) are deposited by the operation of drawing the carrier (30) back over a rod (42) which is held relatively stationary. The carrier (30) stops automatically when one capsule has been deposited and must be triggered in order to deposit the next capsule.

Subcutaneous implant kit

A flexible transparent package for transporting and storing an IUD. The package (2) includes a specifically configured seal line such that the IUD (12) may be manipulated into the configured portion (14) of the package and by utilizing the IUD insertion device (10) and the finger and thumb of the operator from the exterior of the package to place the IUD within the insertion device. Whether the IUD is packaged alone or jointly with the insertion device and the necessary plunger (16), the IUD must be shipped and stored in the expanded condition and the present invention permits the compaction and insertion without significantly affecting the sterile conditions of that portion of the device which must be inserted into the body cavity.
