An electronic device including a stacked connector assembly is provided. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes: a first printed circuit board; a first electronic board-to-board connector mounted to the first printed circuit board; a second printed circuit board; a second electronic board-to-board connector mounted to the second printed circuit board and connected to the first electronic board-to-board connector; a first stacked connector mounted to the second printed circuit board; a second stacked connector connected to the first stacked connector; and a biasing member. The biasing member may bias the first board-to-board electronic connector together with the second electronic board-to-board connector, and the first stacked connector together with the second stacked connector.

A method of making a device housing involves providing a transparent lens with a front surface and a rear surface, and a stepped flange along at least a portion of the lens perimeter. The method includes injecting plastic onto the transparent lens perimeter, including the stepped flange, the plastic forming a plastic feature that has a front surface that is tangent to the front surface of the transparent lens, a rear surface that is tangent to the rear surface of the transparent lens, and that extends outward from the sides of the transparent lens away from a device width center line. The plastic feature is molded to the rear surface of the transparent lens at at least one of two ends of the device housing, and the plastic encapsulates a stepped middle surface of the transparent lens flange. A device housing that is made by this method is also included.

A transparent lens and differing plastic material housing is provided that includes a transparent lens including a front surface, a rear surface, and a perimeter edge, the perimeter edge including a flange, a plastic housing affixed to the perimeter edge flange having a different material than the transparent lens, a portion that is tangent to the front surface of the transparent lens; and a portion that is tangent to the rear surface of the transparent lens.

Arrangements described herein relate to molding of a display screen into a housing of an electronic device. Ad adhesive can be applied to a side of a plastic film to form an adhesion member. The adhesion member can be connected to the display screen, the adhesive bonding to the plastic film to a peripheral region of the display screen. The display screen with the connected adhesion member can be inserted into a housing mold. Plastic resin can be injected into the housing mold to form a housing of the electronic device, the plastic film bonding with the injected plastic resin to secure the display screen into the housing.
