Structures used for dividing, supporting, disguising and/or cladding, for example, modular wall panel systems can include frame members that can include or be in the form of a rail having a panel engaging portion with a generally planar mounting surface configured to accept at least one fastener, the panel engaging portion including first and second lateral sides on opposite sides of the generally planar mounting surface. First and second channels can include side walls extending generally parallel to the generally planar mounting surface, the first and second channels facing away from each other.

Wall panel framing system

The luminous wall system has translucent panels, frame hardware, light fixtures and a reflective plenum. The system includes individual, preferably translucent panels, which are aligned by interconnecting frame extrusions. Stand-off compression brackets are mounted on the supporting subwall and provide for mounting vertical extrusions, as well as for creating sufficient space between the subwall and the system to allow for lighting components, which are mounted on the subwall. Horizontally extending extrusions are aligned and interlocked by an alignment bracket that fits over and fastens to the horizontal extrusions and an intervening vertical extrusion. The panels can be attached to the extrusions via threaded fasteners applied to threaded channels in the extrusions. Alternatively, the panels can fit into unthreaded extrusion channels and be held in place by attachment of a series of overlaying battens.

Support trim rail assembly for panel wall system

A wall panel system in which individual panels are arranged in vertically adjacent horizontally extending courses. Runners are mounted on the supporting subwall and provide means for establishing alignment between panels and horizontally extending courses. In the first embodiment, an interlocking joint is provided in which clips are used to provide interlocking and provide uniform spacing between adjacent panels. Another embodiment provides battens along the joint between the adjacent horizontally extending courses. Still another embodiment provides battens extending along all the joints between adjacent panels. Various types of trim strips are also disclosed for providing a finished edge in corner appearance.

A wall panel system in which individual panels are arranged in vertically extending rows and horizontally extending courses. Support rails or runners are mounted on the supporting subwall to establish vertical and horizontal alignment of the panels. The rails include panel positioning surfaces extending into the joints between the panels to locate adjacent panels. In one embodiment the positioning surfaces close the joint and provide a finished joint-trim appearance. In another embodiment, the positioning surfaces extending along vertical joints support battens that close the joint and provide a finished joint-trim appearance.
